Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) Advance reservation is required. In the evening, I also run a tavern next door, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

1 min walk from Tokamachi Station. It is a small two-story house. There are many delicious restaurants nearby because it is in the city. There are Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and a dining room for couples, families, and groups. There is a kitchen, so of course you can cook for yourself. You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby. (7-minute walk) Ideal for the currently popular workcation. Combined with the adjacent Ume House, it can accommodate up to 8 guests.

It takes about 2 hours from Tokyo Station by Shinkansen and train, From Shinjuku Station,there is also the Tobu Line (2 or 3 trains a day,departing in the morning) with no transfers. (JAPAN RAIL PASS can be used for both) Nikko, a World Heritage site, is a very popular tourist destination among Japanese people, along with Kyoto and Hakone. This is a new and popular private inn.

Welcome to Hotaru, which is the only inn in Japan that used to a temple. You will have the entire building just for yourselves! And, check-in/out is done by yourself, so you do not need to worry of being physically close to anyone. Located 5 min drive from JR Urasa station, which is 90 min by a bullet train from Tokyo.　 Hot spring is 10 min walk. A beautiful trekking/jogging course is right in front! The guests can use two bikes for free of charge. Great food, great sake!

"Yuzawa Building" is open on 2019/2020 winter. It locates on east side of EchigoYuzawa station in a quiet street for only 4-minutes walk away. There is the public Onsen which is most likely used by locals and also, good Yakiniku shop and Soba within walking distance. Because the room is compact and cozy, it is the best choice for up to 4 people family or group. It has kitchen, bath, restroom, washstand are provided along with dining by 1 Western-room and 1 Japanese-room.
