From here you can reach the historic cities with their cultural monuments such as Coburg, Bad Staffelstein, Lichtenfels, Kronach, Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Bamberg and Nuremberg as well as the low mountain ranges of Franconian Forest, Franconian Switzerland, Fichtel Mountains and Thuringian Forest. The "fisherman's cottage" is located directly on the waterfront and the sunbathing area. You are surrounded by nature and animals - countless wild birds (some of them nest in the beams, we even have turret falcons), ducks, chickens, geese, peacocks... dogs, cats and horses are also among the residents.
