Exactly as described, Sandra’s place was just what we needed to enjoy a small weekend getaway to Arouca. Lovely place with all you would need, that made us feel right at home. Loved the occasional visits from a neighbour cat that seemed to love pets. Would definitely recommend and/or come back in the future.

A peaceful and invigorating stay. Located in a quiet area to recharge. A 15-minute walk from Ponte Arouca516 (Pórtico de Alvarenga) that allows you to enter the Passadiços do Paiva. Accommodation with all the amenities needed to have a good time with the family; it was clean and tidy. Raquel was always available and gave suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We recommend it to 100%

We stayed one night after hiking in the area. The location is perfect and the house is as described. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet stay with lots of nature-related things to do close by.

The owners are very friendly and helpful at all times. The house is beautiful with all the amenities and ample space for large groups. Barbecue, garden and pool. Spectacular views and very quiet. In short, an experience to repeat, we would have stayed longer if we could have. A 10 for this place.
