We had a great stay at the forge, the host’s instructions on how to find the air bnb were clear. The information provided about the cottage and area was informative. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with local walks to stunning views. Overall a memorable stay and one I wish to have again.

Our cottage was lovely. Really enjoyed the comfort it afforded us. The location stunning. Just the right tonic for a break in the most beautiful part of the Lake District Just off the normal tourist trails perfect

wonderful little bothy in the shade of a fine old oak and surrounded by willowbeds. Bev's planting (and the bird feeders!) bring in all sorts of unusual birds. we heard cuckoo, blackcap, redstart, wryneck and several warbler species. The bothy has been thoughtfully converted with some lovely touches. Bev was extremely welcoming and helpful.

We stayed at Lisa’s property for 2 nights in June. The place is gorgeous quirky and well put together. Lisa has accommodated lots of details for her guests in the house, whether you just want to relax or be sporty with walk’s and cycle storage. The house location is stunning with water running and sheep. The area is close to Coniston and all the main lakes as well as Windermere for a 35 minute drive. We toured about the area however there’s lots to do even if you just wish to relax with a book and gaze outside at the hills. There is a local boozer which works out a mile away by car we had an evening meal with starter and drinks. Angela and I wish to thank Lisa for a fantastic few days we plan again to rebook for next year for 3-4 days. Thankyou
