Perfect place and location for my 4 day stay. As a solo visitor I felt completely safe to walk around the area at any time. The cottage is very comfortable. Cheryl and her husband are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

A lovely, quiet street in the heart of bustling Inverness, very comfortable, good bed, wonderful shower, washing machine and an easy to use oven. Instructions were easy to understand for TV, and very good wifi. In a nutshell, everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend.

We are family of 3 from Devon. We came to Scotland for May half term sightseeing around. Alness was excellent place to stay overnight and was in the middle of our planned sightseeing points . The flat we stayed was very warm comfortable and very private but still in the middle of the town. It was our best stay ever. Everything was just right. Thank you!

A great place to stay, wish we had more days to stay here Kathleen was extremely helpful. Responded to our queries in phone. Came down to help start the Induction Cooktop, we were not aware of the child lock on it. Provided us with lots of stuff to eat for breakfast - Oats, Croissants, milk etc. Kitchen was well stocked with jam, lot of butter , olive oil, sugar, tea/ coffee powder etc The place was extremely clean. Kitchen had all amenities like Cooktop, Microwave, fridge, electric kettle, plates, adequate pots and pans, spoons, forks etc. The bedroom had blinds to totally shut out light, very convenient in long summer days. The only inconvenience is that a flight of stairs is required to reach the front door and another flight of stairs to reach the bedroom and bathroom from the drawing room . The place is only 10 mins walk from town center and few steps from the river Ness. A department store is only 5 mins walk.

What a fantastic stay! The most beautiful cottage with everything we needed, even some breakfast for our first morning. The setting was magical and so many stunning walks around. We will definitely be back! Elizabeth was so kind in showing us all we needed to know and providing information about must see's in the area. We also loved little Mindy who came for cuddles :)

Seriously… you will NOT be disappointed.. Tesco 1/2 block up, parking, walking bridge to city center steps away, the extra goodies Suz provides . The apartment itself is an oasis travelers . I will be recommending to friends, and that’s saying a lot!

The Apartment in Highland Council was very nice and clean! There were also plenty of towels! The highlight was the beautiful, modern bathroom with the wonderful shower with a full enclosure door and a niche to place your shampoos, etc. Believe us when we say this is a plus in the UK! The water pressure and the hot water was also a plus. Again, this is not always the case in the UK! The apartment was quiet even though it is situated right by a road. The parking is by its back door/patio entrance which is by the market parking lot. We entered and exited from this door during our stay, and used the market parking near the back gate. The kitchen is adorable and functional, but it’s small. It has a very small refrigerator, so small amounts of groceries are best to buy if you’re cooking in. There were some staples available for use, a coffee maker and a kettle. The washer dryer was definitely a plus!

Our stay was terrific. Beautiful, clean and centrally located. Walking distance to downtown Inverness which offers many restaurant choices and shopping. We would highly recommend this place if you visit Scotland.

This in an awesome place. Cannot say enough great things about it. It is spacious, comfortable, clean, and the views are unbeatable. Margaret left very clear and in depth instructions and guides for all amenities. The town is near enough to make trips quick and easy. We will try to stay here anytime we’re in town in the future!

Perfect location for enjoying Portree and exploring the spectacularly beautiful Isle of Skye! You can even walk to some outstanding hikes right from the house! Restaurants and groceries a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful and even more spacious than we expected. We absolutely loved the decor, and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome treats were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The only thing that would have made it perfect was the addition of some practical mirrors and a dressing table — the decorative mirrors were a bit too high for doing hair or makeup. Overall, it’s a lovely property in a great location. We’d happily stay again!

Andrew’s place was the perfect location for our honeymoon stay near Skye. It is about a 1.5hr drive to the attractions on the Isle, but the drive is STUNNING. But more importantly, this home was so comfortable, so clean, and so well-appointed, we had a hard time wanting to leave! The photos honestly don’t do it justice. My only regret is that we didn’t book to stay here for longer. Absolutely wonderful.

Though its an expensive rental, it's a beautiful house in a convenient location. squeaky clean and very functional house. great responsive host who helped us with the dish washer trouble we had immediately. she was so kind to leave us some food gifts as well, appreciate it. we love this property!

Iain and Ingrid were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their place is a lovely, peaceful oasis. The cabin was pristinely clean, charming and cozy, and the gardens full of flowers and birds made us feel that we were living in a fairy tale! Their place is close to lots of outdoor activities. We are already planning our next stay.

My partner and I stayed at Bridie’a cottage for a week. It was absolutely brilliant - the cottage was spotless upon arrival and the location was perfect. There was ample information on what to do and see in the local area and we really enjoyed our stay.

I think our favourite stay ever. We cannot praise this apartment enough. Rupert and Lins ability to have converted this old station and filled it with unusual artefacts and pictures made it a joy to stay in. The decor and furnishings were beautiful in every instance. Everything had been so carefully thought out. The kitchen was very well stocked with high quality equipment which made cooking our meals easy. The beds were beautifully comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. The gifts of beers and Lins home made jam were a lovely addition and most thoughtful. Our only grumble.... why on earth didnt we book a week instead of 3 nights? Oh well, there's always next time!!!!

Lilia and Ewen were one of the best hosts I ever had. Their place is cosy and very well equipped with all the necessities in a house. Highly recommended.

From the heated floors to the copper tub, the little things made a big difference for our stay!

The apartment is very pleasant and perfectly clean. It is in a great location, close to a space to walk the dog and about ten minutes walk to the city center. It is a perfect pied-à-terre to stay for a few days and discover the surroundings of Inverness. Jill is a responsive and caring host

The unit itself is very tidy and perfect for a couple to enjoy Inverness. It is just four blocks from everything. There are a number of units in the building. There is plenty of parking on the street if you don’t land a spot behind the building. The only unfortunate issue is that the building has automatic door closers that close the doors like cannon shots when the less considerate tenants let them slam continuously. Hopefully the landlord can adjust them to not be so forceful in the future.

The host was very kind and flexible. The apartments were comfortable, cozy and very clean. The board games and drying machine were unexpected and pleasant bonus. The stay was like home. Good experience.

Innes has completely remodeled the condo we stayed in. The condo is well located within walking distance of most things. My friend and I thought it was just perfect. We went on a Rabbies tour and the pick up location was just 5 minutes walk from the condo. The Ness Island and Botanic Gardens are just a short walk away. There are tons of restaurants within a few minutes walk. If I ever get back to Inverness I would definitely stay here again.

The house was a complete package situated in a peaceful neighbourhood near to the bus stop for easy access to the centre. It had all the amenities as mentioned and felt as if we were at home. Thanks to Stefan for promptly replying to all my queries. 😊
