The Flambeau Hideaway, located 20 minutes outside of Mercer, WI, is our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on the shores of Lake Bastine, one of the original lake basins located on the west-central portion of Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The Flowage consists of over 14,000 acres &over 90% of the surrounding land is state owned & undeveloped; which gives off that true wilderness feel. So many outdoor activities! That’s the beauty of the Northwoods - snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking LIST GOES ON!

Newer home nestled on a wooded water front lot (limited views of Lake Shishibogama 100 yards to the dock). Tastefully decorated with rustic antiques & nostalgia from the past, located 7 mi. from downtown Minocqua. 5 uniquely decorated bedrooms & 3 bathrooms makes a perfect place for large groups- Hot tub/bar/game room. Great for snowmobilers w/room to accommodate large trucks and trailers. The kitchen is fully stocked w/everything you'll need(2 fridges). 4 kayaks and Pontoon paddle boat.

In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. Plenty of parking for trailers. Hunting, fishing, alpine skiing & golf nearby as well as the Gile Flowage, many water falls, rivers & lakes to explore!
