Turtle-Flambeau Flowage cabins

Our honeymoon stay at the Bakery Bungalow was beyond enchanted! When we arrived it was hard to describe how tickled we were at our delightful and tasty lodgings, with the decorations and interior design that showed the loving host who was behind the scenes! When we arrived there were muffins waiting for us, the next day there was a delivery of banana bread, and the final day was a memento of our stay! If one cannot figure out what I mean in the last three paragraphs, the bottom line is: BOOK THIS BUNGALOW!

Kevin and Steve are incredible hosts. It's clear that sharing their incredible space with others is a pleasure for them and we are the lucky beneficiaries of their generosity. The cabin is perfectly sized in my opinion, and the bathroom and kitchen are well appointed. The pillows and blankets were nice and cozy and the shower had great water pressure. Soaps, shampoo/conditioner and towels were there for us to use. The screened-in porch provides a great option for being outside when the bugs get to be too much, but the prime sitting spot is near the lake, and if the weather allows, you should have your coffee there at least once. The kind and attentive communication, fresh flowers, and fresh cookies are icing on the cake. I'd love to return on my next vacation.

The cottage was super cute and super affordable. The location was great because it was close to town and close to different things to do but also was private. I would highly recommend staying here as it’s a perfect weekend getaway and is perfect for a small family or a couple. I really enjoyed our stay it was much needed and I loved the cottage interior I thought it was so cute and the hospitality that Marcus and Maria had was phenomenal.

Very cozy cabin in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was very nice! The hosts are very responsive and hospitable!

What an incredible serene quaint space! All expectations met. LeAnne was so kind and accommodating!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and fresh. The view is amazing and the property is so private. We loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our pup loved running around and going out on the dock. The location was just what we wanted, centrally located between the bike trails in Boulder Junction and Lac Du Flambeau, and the convenience of Woodruff and Minocqua where there are many good restaurants and Dan's Minocqua Fudge where they make their own excellent ice cream and candy. We also took a nice walk on the Bearskin State Trail out of Minocqua. I highly recommend Christine's place and we will definitely be back!

We had a such a peaceful summer weekend away with our dogs! It was so nice to start and end our days by soaking in the hottub. There is an amazing view of powderhorn mountain right from the hottub. Everything felt very clean. The cabin was stocked with anything we needed along with extra pet supplies which made us feel so at home. There is tons to do near by but lots to do at the cabin too. Next time we’ll add more days!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was! The home is lovely, the propertyspectacular, the seclusion perfect, and the area delightful! Thank you so much for creating a space that we hope to visit again soon!

This was a beautiful home tucked away in the woods on lake! Who could ask for more! The host had helpful tips and clear instructions

Us 3 ladies had a great time at Melissa and Erin's place! The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. The location is perfectly situated near all kinds of restaurants and stores. It was peaceful and relaxing and we loved the scenery.

A great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Tyler was very timely with responses to all my questions no matter the time of day. The cabin was basic but had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing disappointing about the trip was the fishing. Unfortunately, Tyler had no control over the fish and weather.

Loved the serenity of the place. Had deer walking through the yard every morning! We had 8 guests and the place facilitated our NYE group very well. Ample sleeping arrangements, lots of games and a game room. Great Place!

This cabin was great for a group of snowmobilers. Direct access to the lake made getting to the trails easy. We admired the cleanliness and layout of the cabin and beds. We would definitely stay here again.

This was exactly what we were looking for. There were 3 adults and a 9 month old and everything was great. The beds were so comfy and we had everything we needed to make our meals. The view from the living room over the lake was amazing and so relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed sitting on the dock looking at the water. Being only 13 miles from Minocqua was perfect for if you needed something or finding things to do. The Wildwood Wildlife Park and Nature Center is a perfect place to visit for kids and adults. Make sure to be there for the giraffe feeding!!! Norwood's Supper Club is also very close and a must for the food. Adrian is very responsive. 1st night was a power outage in the area and was very helpful. We are saving the house for future use and recommending it to others who want to visit the area!

Very beautiful place to stay! Nice fishing lake. I thought everything looked even better than described! Close to everything you would want to do in Minocqua. We hope to stay here again next year!

The place was great. It had everything we needed and wanted. It's very peaceful. I would definitely go back. The host gave us an opportunity for an early check in and a late checkout. He was very responsive.
