Ali was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! He offered a discount to match my budget and always was proactive in making sure i was having a good time and taken care of! The place is so vintage and has a rich history, Ali is super passionate about it and that makes it more appealing and pleasant to stay in. The place is clean everything you could ask for. It’s calm and private the owner made sure you were taken care of but at the same time given your own space. The staff(maid, cook and other staff) are always so helpful and happy to help! This place is perfect for people who are looking for an inspiring place to work remotely while enjoying the best part of tunis in my opinion. Special thanks to Ali and all the staff! This would definitely be my best recommendation for tunis and i will definitely come back again. Super underrated and over looked~

Nous venons de passer un super séjour chez Oussama. L’emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la médina …et bien plus . Oussama est une personne très attentionnée, réactive, cultivée , dynamique et très intéressante . Son hébergement est magnifique et paisible et l’accueil chaleureux et au top. Enjoyable Stay. Highly recommended! A beautiful historic house with a touch of art in each corner. Marouane welcomed us in and carried the heavy bag upstairs, he was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. His wife, Shiraz, is lovely as well and checked on us daily. The 2 ladies who work there, Sonya and Sumaya, were wonderful and super friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we are happy and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, fresh, and diverse. In addition, they are happy to accommodate any particular request in terms of drinks, food, and room service. We also had the chance to meet some lovely people (residents) during breakfast. Location is walking distance to some tourist attractions like the traditional market (Souq El Medina), Dar El Jeld restaurant and spa, Kasbah square, Bab El Bhar and Habib Bourgiba avenue.

An amazing stay. Hatem was very welcoming and helpful throughout the entire stay. I booked my first three nights with him and then returned for my last 3 nights before leaving the country. He showed me some beautiful places that I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. We shared some meals together and had refreshing conversations about the country, politics, history, architecture, etc. I had the opportunity to meet his family and share a traditional meal with them during my stay as well. I am always very grateful for these experiences on my travels. It felt like being at home. The location is walkable to many beautiful sites, good food and the souks. I even walked to the Bardo museum and his location is only 5-10 mins walking to the louage station (gare nord). Hatem was always available for communication and very flexible with my arrival/departure times. A wonderful home, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, highly recommend!

Excellent séjour chez Sayida et Tarek !! Nous sommes arrivés assez tard au port de Tunis et Sayida nous a attendu avec un délicieux couscous maison ❤️ Tarek et Sayida ont pris le temps d’échanger avec nous et nous ont donné plein de conseils pour profiter de notre séjour ce qui en a fait une expérience inoubliable et authentique ! La chambre est super confortable, les petits dej maison plein de détails et la maison est vraiment une belle maison typique en pleine Medina ! Merci pour votre super accueil, nous recommandons +++

L’accueil chaleureux, la flexibilite des hôtes, l’emplacement de cette chambre d’hôtes proche du centre, le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, le beau jardin de la villa en plein cœur de la ville, le confort et la propreté de la chambre.

Tout y est fait pour que l’on se sente à l’aise. C’est beau, c’est propre, accueillant et chaleureux. La suite et la salle de bains étaient très belles, le ménage impeccable et le petit-déjeuner très bon. La maison, datant du siècle dernier est pleine d’originalité et très bien entretenue avec un concept different des hôtels classiques. Un grand merci aux hôtes qui n’ont fait que répondre positivement à mes requêtes.

Sehr schönes Airbnb im Herzen von Tunis. Man befindet sich direkt im Alltagsleben der Einheimischen. In der Nebensaison waren wir nahezu die einzigen Touristen in der Gegend, das muss man mögen. Wir haben uns allerdings sicher gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren immer gut erreichbar und unfassbar gastfreundlich. Wir wurden direkt zum Mittagessen eingeladen und haben uns ein Mahl geteilt. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr authentisch. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!

The stay was fantastic. The location is just in the middle of this beautiful place, the views, especially for the breakfast, overlooking the sea, are breathtaking. The palace is marvellous, I haven’t expected it. Looks even better than the pictures, almost surreal. Was such a privilege to be able to stay there and to experience. The staff is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I loved this place and would like to come back.
