Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tropea

Beautiful accommodation for couples, friends or families. Everything you need can be reached by foot although the beach access is a small climb but it's definitely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend this place to my fiends :)

From start to finish, Cristian was a fantastic host! We really enjoyed our stay at his beautiful villa, and we definately want to come back. The villa has incredible views and Tropea was such a lovely city. Cristian was very helpful with giving us flexible check-in and nice local recommendations for both beaches and restaurants. We felt like Cristian went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We didn’t use the pool area much, as we wanted to explore the different beaches, but it did not feel crowded even though the pool is shared with the other 9-10 apartments in the complex.

Great stay in Parghelia in August. Two-room apartment in the very nice villa. View from the window of the beautiful room...directly on the sea and on Tropea. Even more evocative to enjoy the wonderful sunsets directly on the deck chairs located in the villa's park. Everything is clean and in order of our arrival with the host who is always present and available. Pro active and responsive Mrs. Ivana did not miss anything. A plus for your friendliness. Well-equipped and functional apartment. Wonderful natural ventilation of the same. Air conditioning not used. Great for beach vacation with family. Location close to Michelino and Vardano beaches,…about 10 minutes walk. Parghelia's country even closer. Trope 5 minutes by car. Strategic location really. Congratulations. Great stay.

The apartment is perfect, with an outdoor pool. Great for family vacations and not.

Very beautiful place, I would definitely go back, my wife and kids loved it. Everyone is super friendly. Tip: Stair master to prepare for the hike down the 200 plus steps to get to the beautiful beach and back up when you’re done (which we did and made a huge difference).

Had two nice nights! Great ocean view, close to the sea ( a bit tricky to get to the beach if you have small children though) But the pool at the building was great, and Danilo was a great host. Thank you! :)

A wonderful place...we highly recommend it!

We had an amazing time at Marasusa. The view from the garden and pool is wonderfull and we enjoyed spending time at the pool and watching stars from the terrasse. The apartment was clean and basic, some equipment needs to be renewed but all in all a great stay to explore the beautiful beaches and places in Kalabria.

Very clean and well equipped apartment in short walking distance to the old town of Tropea and to the beach. The highlight is the terrace with an incomparable sea view, on a clear day you can see the Stromboli volcano and the sundown is fantastic.

Andrea and his family are very helpful and communication was very good! The furnishings are simple but functional and quite in line with the description and pictures. In fact, the location and the views are exceptional!!! Actually, you hardly have to leave the accommodation, because the sea is literally at your feet. For us, a very relaxing and beautiful getaway. Therefore 5 stars 🌟

Monia was an attentive and helpful host. The stay was clean and well presented, and in the perfect location to explore the historic old town and beautiful beaches!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Tropea apartment. The balcony view was like a dream — watching the sunset each evening with our kids was unforgettable. Its location was perfect, just off Corso Vittorio Emanuele with plenty of dining options, and steps away from the beach and port. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

We as a group, of 8 people were positively surprised how beautiful the place was. Everything was clean and beautifully bright. You had a wonderful view from the conservatory to the sea. The location was great, it is not far to the train station ( walking distance about 5 min). Communication was straightforward. Definitely recommended. Thank you very much.

We had a rest in mid July. This villa is divided into 4 apartments with a beautiful and large common area. Located a short distance from Tropea. Without a car. The apartment has its own patio and its own small well-maintained territory with palms and flowers. Just like on the photo. We were greeted by Sylvia's people. There were small problems at the check-in, but Silvia solved them as quickly as possible. The mattresses and pillows were quite stiff. There is a freezer. Great rest spot with a car. 5 minutes drive to the beach.

Our three-day stay was very nice. The apartment was nice. Everything is very clean and peaceful. The private access (2-3 minutes walk) to the sea was perfect; the beach was also very nice. Ivan's contact and availability was top notch. Thank you for a great stay.

Overall, the place was very suitable, especially if you're out all day. The air conditioning worked superbly and was very welcome at night. The kitchen was also satisfactorily equipped. However, basic things like dish soap, toilet paper, and sponges were missing. On a positive note, there were plenty of towels and extra linens. Unfortunately, we were stung quite heavily by mosquitoes.

I stayed in Zambrone in a simply perfect apartment: clean, well furnished and in a strategic location, the view from the balcony was breathtaking! Host was very professional and helpful from the first contact, he was always ready to answer any questions. I had an issue during the stay, resolved in a short time. Unforgettable and at the same time relaxing vacation.

Annelis house is close to the beach and offers a marvelous view over the sea. Anneli is great and generous, she allowed as a really late checkout. Communication with her was absolutely easy and she always answered very fast. Since she wasn't around we were taken care of by Loraine who is lovely and who gave us a lot of useful informations. The house itself is enough big for a family with 4kids, the beds a comfortable and the kitchen offers everything you need. Off-season you have to drive a little bit to the next supermarket since there are not many people in the area, but on the other hand we were almost alone at the beach and that was worth it. We loved to be there and are hoping to come again soon.

Great well maintained structure, great location to quickly reach the necessary amenities and beaches. Only note that the mattresses were not comfortable. Overall we had a great time and the pool is an added value when you don't want to move around by car.

Highly recommended for people who expect privacy. It’s a modest but Clean and comfortable apartment. All things in descrption were found inside although it takes a bit time to guess for example how to turn on THE washing machine ,THE oven or warm Water. Instructions from Valentina are however clean. You can chill outside with beautiful view of perfectly maintained garden and sea view . THE biggest plus is also Access to beautiful pool, water is clean and its pretty big, circa 18 metres of length. Valentina is very caring person and despite not being present in Calabria , she gives all details about check in, house rules , places to visit, where to eat or buy local cheese. That was very helpful for us and I’m sure without her tips we would be unaware of many things around.

My stay at the San Ferdinando residence was simply fantastic! The property is modern and well cared for, with all the necessary comforts to make your stay extremely pleasant. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished, which has helped create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you goes to Marino, our host, who was extremely courteous and helpful from the first moment. Marino has provided us with valuable tips about the area and local attractions, allowing us to live an authentic and unforgettable experience. Your care in making our stay perfect is truly commendable. I highly recommend the San Ferdinando residence to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing and comfortable vacation, with the security of being welcomed by an exceptional host like Marino.

Fulvia was very sweet and helpful. We could just ask her anything, and if there was anything we needed, she would take care of it. The house is very beautiful, but the kitchen equipment is a little sparse. Fulvia, however, helped us with what we asked for.

We had a wonderful stay at Vittoria’s place! She was always kind, helpful, and available whenever we had questions. Her friendly attitude made us feel very welcome. Vittoria also gave us great local tips that made our trip even more special — from restaurant recommendations to hidden spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would definitely stay here again!
