Airport 11min | Downtown 16min | Epic Surroundings

Bjørn-HåvarRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous stay. Easy to check in with the code sent. The house was spacious, rich in content and clean. Here was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had beautiful weather with midnight sun and nature experiences with reindeer just outside the house. The house is close to the bus stop, so it was easy to get around without a car. We chose to go on an evening trip to the city center to explore Tromsø by night and easily took the night bus home. Anette was always quick to respond to messages and had several good local tips for us. We would gladly came again 😊

House, centrally located in a rural setting.

YugantiRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Rita was the kindest host. The place was perfect and beautiful. We didn’t wanna leave, it’s not in the city centre but that’s what we wanted. We even saw northern lights from the Airbnb. We had the best stay especially thanks to Rita’s hospitality. She went above and beyond to help us in every way she could. The place itself was short of nothing, amazing views, great space, very well decorated and clean. Definitely recommend staying here.

Modern, spacious home in peaceful farming village

PunitRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Innika's house is really beautiful and spacious. We were there as a big family and enjoyed our time in the house. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, toilets were clean and kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare vegetarian meals. We were able to spot a streak of northern light from the parking one night. Also, we enjoyed the Sauna which Innika has installed. The trip to Tromso city was only 40 minutes by car, despite the roads being completely covered with snow during our time of Stay. We loved our experience and would definitely come back here.

Our stay at Line's and Kim's place was fantastic. The Airbnb is a little house overlooking the Skjulsford and is prefect for exploring the area. All things that you will need are there. The surroundings are beautiful and peacefull. Really made our trip to Norway something to remember!

AuroraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Everything is perfect! Sorana is very kind and very helpful, the house has everything you need to live there and can be reached on foot from downtown with a quiet walk of 30 minutes or alternatively with buses, always very efficient. The house is in a perfect location to see the Aurora borealis and far from the ‘chaos’ of downtown.

Cozy apartment with a view

MarieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very bright, comfortable apartment, with exceptional views of the fjord. Downtown is a 25-minute walk away. Several buses 5 minutes from the apartment and direct access to the airport. Very quiet area with a large park (cross-country skiing trail, lake). Large supermarket nearby. No TV in the apartment and wifi without any problem. No heating in the bedrooms and cents very good for sleeping (in winter provide warm pajamas) but the living room and bathroom are very well heated.
A wooden house sits near the shoreline, featuring a spacious deck. Two bicycles are positioned beside the deck, with a lush lawn extending toward the water. Mountains rise majestically in the background under a clear sky, while power lines stretch along the road.

The house gives you a home-feeling instantly and the style of the facilities and furnitures is tasteful and modern. The beautiful bathroom and the fireplace in the living room with view on the Ersfjord make this place so special. Ellen is a great host and gives a welcome-feeling to the guests. Good spot for outdoor activities such as skitouring, hiking or watersports in summer.

Nice camper to sleep in

Donna StoekRating, 5 stars39 months ago
Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

Northern Lights Apartment

RocíoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. Thank you both so much!

Modern cottage; Skarsfjorden, Tromsø

SebastianRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It's an amazing place that we highly can recommend! We spend here a week in the beginning of March with two children 8 and 10 years old. The house is placed in the middle of the nature with only a few other houses around. We had some snowy days with fun for the kids and cozy time in front of the fireplace. Also sunny days - perfect to explore the nature. There are beautiful hikes in the mountains (45-60 min drive), or just around the house. Beautiful! And we saw the northern lights! ;) The only negative comment for photographers: there is a little (fish-?)factory at the other side of the bay. During their work they use bright lights, so it wash out the northern light. But it's not every night and otherwise you have to drive around the corner to get dark skies. And you should rent a 4x4 car, cause the road is very bumpy and with snow and ice I'm not sure if you would make it with a 2 wheel. We definitely would come back! It's an amazing house that Stiv build here in nature!

Lovely cabin 1 hour from Tromsø

ConradRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Invild and Jonas are lovely hosts and they have an amazing cabin. We stayed there with 10 friends for a week and the cabin felt like home from the very first moment. It was tidy, modern, comfy and clean with a nice view, just as on the pictures. You can ski-in and out of the xcountry slop right from the cabin door and we did many snowshoe hikes and ice fishing. The sauna, fire place (with wood) and the fire pit outside were cool to have. The place is very child friendly (it has toys, skiis, sledges). Thank you so much for an amazing week.

Cabin in Malangen, Northern light apartment

EveliinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️
