Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Tromsdalen

We loved staying at Bettina’s house! The best views! Both from the living room and kitchen including the bedrooms! Having a sauna and a yoga room was also great! We loved it all!!

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place. We stayed at 3 different places on our Tromso visit, and wish we would have booked this one longer. Location is outside of city proper, but very easy to drive into Tromso. Up to date amenities and generous host, very helpful and nice welcome. When we return to Trom, will book again!

Kåre is a fantastic host with a wonderful home. Kåre met us personally to let us into his home even though it was around 1100 pm in the evening. He toured us around his place and explained everything to us. He was very welcoming and kind. He responded promptly to any questions we had during our stay. The location is about 30 minutes from central Tromsø with an easy drive to and from the city's center. The location is on the water with stunning views of Tromsø island and the surrounding mountains. The area is peaceful and quiet and offers great views of the Northern Lights. Definitely consider staying with Kåro on your visit to Tromsø.

Easy commute to downtown and close to trails to nearby peaks. Nicely furnished and tidy.

Everything was as expected. Service and communication was excellent.

Oddma's house is in a very quiet settlement, quite at the end of Tromsdalen. However, it is very accessible, about 1.3 km from the ice cathedral. Also a Eurospar on the way. The apartment is well equipped, you enter it by pin lock. Already chubby warm upon arrival, magnificent view of the mountain. Parking right by the house, very good WiFi. We were not able to meet Oddmar personally, but he was always quickly accessible via AirBnB app. The beds are soft and a little narrow, the blankets warm and cozy. For us as non-smokers very positive that it is a strict non-smoking apartment, also on the balcony and in front of the house there is no smoking. We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back sometime.

Bjorn is an awesome host. Born and raised in Tromso, salt-of-the-earth dude. He gave us the best driving tour of Tromso you could ask for on our way from the airport. The space itself was very comfortable also. All-new amenities, heated floor throughout (!) and very quiet despite being near a busy road. Ran out of hot water a couple times while showering but that was a minor inconvenience. Easy to get to central Tromso by bus, walk to the grocery store, etc. We loved it!!

We feel so lucky to have met Jorgen—an amazing Superhost! He went above and beyond to help us: booking taxis, sharing travel tips, and even waiting late into the night for our arrival. He also kindly cleared the ice from the front door to make wheelchair access easier—just one of the many thoughtful things he did for us. The house was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared (we even found band-aids in the drawer—such a caring touch!). Wishing you and your family good health and happiness. Stylish apartment with a beautiful view and very comfortable beds! The hosts were friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to visit. And we had the cutest cat visitor every day (Tikky, we miss you ❤️). There were also toys for kids which was a nice surprise. 👌

We can’t thank Bjørn and Nina enough for letting us stay in their beautiful home! The space is modern, comfortable and luxurious. It has everything you need for the perfect weekend getaway! Every detail of the accommodation from the decode, to kitchen equipment was carefully thought through. The cabin by itself was perfect, but it was our hosts who really shone! They were very considerate, and extremely helpful. Striking the balance of privacy whilst remaining accessible just right. We would not hesitate to book another trip just to stay here again :) we only hope they will not be fully booked! 😂

The apartament in Tromsø was very spaciou, good beds, good shower, and very clean. Joachim was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. The location was incredibly, being a short ride by taxi from and to the airport and walking distance to the city center. The washer and dryer was very convenient since we had another city to visit. I would highly recommended his accommodation e will be back in Tromsø in the Summer on the future.

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

Excellent apartment overlooking the fjord from the jacuzzi. 10/10

We had a really nice time in Tromsø! Christine was very friendly and sent us clear instructions on how to get to the place, where to park our car, etc. The flat is very cosy and has a big bathroom. Thank you Christine!

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation totally matched our expectation to go skiing nearby. Nice and functional accommodation. Very nice view on the fjord with a beautiful indoor barbecue.

The cabin was perfect to calm down and to watch the northern lights. It has really everthing you need (besides Wifi, but wasn‘t necessary for us) and it was so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definetely come back! Svein is a perfect host! He provided lot of information and was really helpful (we had some issues with getting a rental car in Tromsø). Couldn‘t have been better! Thank you so much for hosting us 🥰

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

A gem! Marius built with his hands a nest that was both clean and cozy. 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Tromsø, convenient for a stay in nature, away from the light pollution to catch the northern lights. A haven of peace finally quite easy to access by public transport, anticipating a little of the activities. Marius is very kind, responsive and helpful. It feels like he's put all his heart into his cottage! Special mention to the magical Northern Lights shows from the hot tub! Enchanter!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were just looking for it quiet and close to nature areas where you can ski.

Great secluded cottage. Makes for easy viewing of the Auroras.
