Absolutely loved my stay at the Airstream! I was a beautiful and very peaceful place to stay, a great location to both Arcata and the Redwoods. Also loved the access to the hot tub— perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking! Jeffery and his family are great and responsive hosts, I felt safe and comfortable the whole stay.

This place is extraordinary! The amenities cant get any better than here. Hot tubs were amazing, also very clean. Sauna was spotless and VERY well maintained. Shannon was super responsive and helpful when needed. List of restaurants she provided were great. The room was extremely clean, bathroom was spotless. They provided fresh farm eggs in our fridge for our arrival as well! This place is PERFECT. 10/10 couldnt be better. Will absolutely be coming back.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. I appreciated the host's clear instructions regarding location & check out. I will absolutely be back. Thanks so much for your hospitality and the lovely visit.

We had a very relaxing stay. Bed and linens were comfortable and soaking tubs melted away the travel aches. Had everything we needed for the visit and our host Shannon was very responsive when I had a question. Would come back!

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay as a home base to the Redwoods, let us do you a favor — book this and search no further. Unbelievable ocean views, fantastic home, great community, close beaches and trails … you can’t beat it. Trinidad must be the best kept secret on the west coast.

Shannon is an exceptional host and our room, The Hideout, was the perfect mix of antique furniture, funky colors, and cabin-in-the-woods vibe. The common areas, tubs, and saunas, too, are immaculate and feel like a spa. Will come again.

This place is so lovely, cozy, and exactly what we needed at the end of our road trip. We had a hot soak in the copper tub on a very cold morning and it’s exactly what our achey muscles needed. If you’re reading this and wondering if you should book- the answer is definitely yes.

It was a perfect location for exploring the redwoods both north and south of the home. The yard was securely fenced and tall hedges to increase privacy and keep the dogs safe. The neighborhood is cute and there is a local city park with all sorts of trails 5 minutes away to walk the dogs at in the morning. The Humboldt state park was about 50 minutes south, prairie creek 50 minutes north, and Jedediah smith 1.5 hours north. Overall a perfect central location for getting all the sight seeing in! The guest house had everything we needed and was a perfect place to relax after a busy day!

Kate and Chuck were friendly and attentive. The space was private, comfortable, warm (It was unseasonably cold during our stay) and clean. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Couldn’t recommend it more! The warm and welcoming owners instantly made us feel at home, sharing their passion for hosting and local tips. The beautifully decorated bungalow was cozy and comfortable, surrounded by lovely gardens that created a serene atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, as we were given fresh eggs from the charming chickens on the property! Overall, our stay was a perfect blend of relaxation and hospitality

My wife and I felt right at home in Philip’s place! Philip was very responsive, kind, and had great local recommendations! The suite was well appointed and comfortable! We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

This home is perfect for a family! Plenty of communal space and the most well stocked rental kitchen we have ever had which was perfect since we made our Thanksgiving dinner there on this trip. The view from the home and deck is gorgeous!! We had an excellent stay.

The space was as described, and the neighborhood was quiet. You're also not too far from the redwood park which was great for my dogs. Easy walk or drive to food and drink. Jean Lynette made thoughtful recommendations that were dog friendly and had some great fruit for us upon arrival.

This cozy cottage is in such a peaceful and private area. So beautiful with a deer that was friendly, looking at us and not afraid. We saw the deer three time during our visit. Beautiful birds and hummingbirds drinking from jasmine. Also fun was curling up on the couch next to the gas fireplace when it was cold at night. It was wonderful.

A great little place. We loved that we could bring our little dog with us without any fuss or extra fees - they even provided amenities for her such as a bed and a small, fenced yard. The space was comfortable, clean, and we felt immediately at home. We find ourselves in Eureka from time to time, and we will definitely look for this spot again!

Sunset House is a nicely-appointed, comfortable house. The deck offered outside dining with a view of the ocean. Easy walking to the beach for tide pooling, to Trinidad Head for hiking and birding, to a great breakfast at the Seascape Restaurant, and to a grocery store, a pizza place, a coffee shop, and other restaurants. Arlene's yard was full of May flowers (rhododendrons, calla lilies, wisteria, fuchsia) and has a big back yard perfect for drinking tea in the morning sun. Comfortable beds, big plush towels. It was a nice and quiet location away from any car traffic. And, she has a whole bunch of board games which we enjoyed playing. This is a perfect Airbnb!

Susan and her sister Ashley's place was perfect for our needs. A friend and I stayed there for a weekend wedding. Parking was easy and convenient when we arrived. The balcony has such a relaxing view of the bay and Old Town Eureka. It provides plenty of opportunities for easily walking around to shops, eateries, and bars. If you're looking for a late night treat the ice cream parlor just downstairs was phenomenal. Cannot recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in the area.

We LOVED staying at Marke’s place! He provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine and bag of wood for a bonfire upon our arrival. He showed us around the cabin and made sure we knew where everything was, how the water system worked, etc. We did have to get the keys directly from Marke and hand them off to him upon leaving, so if you’re looking for a contactless check in this place probably isn’t for you. However, we loved our personal interactions with Marke and the hospitality he provided! The location of the property is also ideal! Right next to Sue-Meg State Park and not far from all things Redwoods State and National Parks!

Am amazing place to stay in Eureka. Every corner house of this house was great. They had board games, keyboard, television among many other things for a fun filled stay

We really enjoyed staying at Jim and Christine’s during a long weekend getaway. Their cottage was in a great location, clean, and had everything we needed. We were able to check in early and were offered a late check out thanks to our gracious hosts. Would definitely return in the future!
