Private suite vacation rentals in Traverse City

All was great! She even had some food in the fridge. Nothing here to complain about regarding the hosts. The only challenging piece is the street sign is set back on a wooden post as it is a private drive rather than a street off Peninsula Drive.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Taylor's. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was as described. My children loved the toys and play area, and Taylor even set out another game for them to play while we were there. As others have said, the bed is very comfortable. While there was a lock on the bedroom door with the large bed, there isn't one on the basement door to the overall space and two twin beds. This wasn't an issue but just for awareness for others. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels for us to use. We didn't spend much time there, as we were traveling about town, but wish we could have, as it was a nice space. We hope to stay there again if something brings us into town.

This getaway on Silver Lake provided a magical place to relax, listen to the waves, see the sunrises and sunsets, and enjoy the fabulous outdoors in northern Michigan. It's close enough to shop downtown Traverse City and to explore the many wineries on Old Mission Peninsula. Enjoy! 😊

Excellent location!! Place was great for a short visit out to Frankfort!

North of Ordinary and our host, Jo, were fabulous! My daughter and I stayed three nights for the Bayshore Marathon. The location was perfect and Jo could not have been more kind, friendly, and helpful. Not only did she make wonderful recommendations for restaurants and wineries, but also ran to the store and got me a toothbrush when I had forgotten mine. Wow! That is above and beyond. It was such a peaceful place to stay. The plush green landscape you saw out the many windows, was so peaceful. We also enjoyed the private patio with party lights. But one of the most amazing things, especially after completing a marathon, was the cozy and comfortable bed. The mattress, pillows, and linens were amazing! We had such a comfortable and peaceful stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us Jo. We will definitely be back! :)

Ellen was a wonderful host and the location was very peaceful and easy to locate. The space was stocked with anything you might want or need. You can tell the hosts are detail oriented and want their guests to feel welcome and comfortable. Ellen even prepared delicious and fresh fruits and breads to fuel for hikes. Would not hesitate to book and stay again! Thank you!

This place is so beautiful! The location right on the bluff is breathtaking and waking up to a view of the lake was such a privilege. The place has nearly everything one might need to prep your own meals and eat in. The space was clean and check in was very easy. It’s a few minutes drive from Frankfort, but feels like you’re secluded in the best possible way. I would definitely stay again.

Our 2nd stay here! Central to our fave spots up north, quiet, comfy and peaceful. We’ll be back next summer!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location right on the bay and only 15 minutes from downtown TC. Beth was friendly, responsive and recommended flower shops in the area for us. The suite and property were both very well maintained. Would be happy to stay again in the future.

The place itself was perfect for my wife and I - inside felt like a cabin, very clean and in a great location right in Glen Arbor so we could just walk around shops and restaurants right there - also less than 10 minutes walk to the lake! Julie was also very responsive and helpful, and even was able to help us jump start our car as we were leaving, which was a huge help!

The hosts are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The place was adorable and felt immediately peaceful and relaxing. The preserved history of the farm is fantastic and fascinating. Great restaurants close by and close to lots of scenic beauty. We plan to make this place a yearly tradition!

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

My family's stay here was fantastic. Lisa and Todd are very friendly and welcoming. My kids loved having their dog around since we have one of our own. The location was perfect for my family. We had plenty of space indoors and outdoors. I enjoyed the peaceful location in the woods and away from the busyness of a hotel. We will definitely be staying there again! Thank you Lisa and Todd!

This was a beautiful property that was well stocked and very clean! The Inn Keeper was fabulous and offered many suggestions for places to go and things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was great! Nancy was thoughtful and kind, leaving a nice note, snacks and drinks for us that were so helpful. The space was clean and perfect for the two of us.

Sara's place is at a great location between the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse city. The beds were super comfortable and the location was quiet and peaceful.

Right on Lake Michigan. Great views; we kept our windows open and listened to the waves crash all through the night. As private a beach as you'll find anywhere. Very friendly and hospitable hosts and a cute 2-bedroom. Perfect!

The accommodations were very good. The apartment was clean with modern furnishings. Furthermore, the host family, who resides above the apartment, were hospitable and mindful of providing privacy and space as was I for them.

This AirBNB is clean and spacious with nice decoration. All beds are comfortable with a lot bedding stuff. They have opened the hot tub and we can use it anytime, we enjoyed it after coming back from boating in Torch Lake (30 minutes). The kitchen is small but functional and has everything, we cooked simple breakfast and BBQ dinner using the grill outside. There’s a big TV in the living room we viewed the Olympic Games. The host is responsive and friendly to communication. The price is reasonable for our 7 guests.

Second visit! The view is beautiful. The accommodations clean and comfortable. Lots of considerate niceties. The proprietors proactive to ensure a great stay.

This carriage house was a perfect get-away for my mom and I this past weekend. The surroundings were beautiful; we timed it perfectly for the trees changing color! The fireplace made it so cozy and enjoyable and the beds were so comfy- perfect for long hours of reading and relaxing. When we wanted to get out and about TC was a quick drive around the bay. It was a wonderful weekend away!

Lake Ann was a beautiful, tranquil place to call home while exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes, Frankfort, Sutton Bay wine country, Leelanau, M22 bike trail--and oh yes the reason for the trip--Michigan lake wedding was great too! We'll be back for the reunion!
