The property is located in an old farmhouse from 1850. Hallau is rurally located on the German border between the Black Forest and Lake Constance. Public transport is available, but a car is an advantage. In a two-minute walk you can reach the bus station, grocery store, bakery and bank. We are child-friendly and non-smokers. I do a duck breeding. The ducks are in one of the two gardens.

The cottage was perfectly tailored to our wishes and needs and the location with this fantastic view of the Swiss mountains simply fantastic! Everything necessary was available and you felt right at home. Despite the large glazing, privacy was preserved and one had the impression of being completely alone with nature. Our hosts Zeno & Carina were always approachable when needed and very, very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely recommend it!!! Tanja&Stephan

Great accommodation right below the vineyards. Perfect starting point for excursions in the area, whether local in the vineyards, or after a short drive in the Black Forest, to Lake Constance or Switzerland. We felt very comfortable.

We arrived from a long drive with the young children. They were delighted with the playground (a treehouse with a slide), the yard and the toys. The accommodation is simple, but well arranged for one night, with small children and to wash clothes. The place has a slightly musty, dusty smell, but nothing much. Blackout in all windows. But we had a big inconvenience after the stay. The host filed a complaint with Airbnb demanding that we pay the equivalent of +1 night and speaking rudely, in addition to exaggerations, in addition to paying +BRL90 for a toy 'damaged' by the children. She complained about the children's noise. They wanted us to leave the place spotless and ready for the next guests, without them having to clean anything (and without leaving instructions or conditions about the additional charge). They even complained that we were 15 minutes late at checkout. Finally, it became an unprecedented headache. It may not be the best option for small children.

The apartment is very large and bright. It is beautifully located in the countryside, yet shopping facilities are nearby. The reception was very friendly and the hostess was always available. Our guests from Spain felt very comfortable.
