We had a wonderful week at Ellen's house on Knippla. The house is located on one of the highest points of the island and offers a magnificent view from the terraces all around. It is tastefully and sensibly furnished and well equipped - also in the kitchen (dishwasher, induction stove, coffee filter machine, washing machine, dryer). Ellen gave us a detailed briefing and was always easily accessible. We traveled to the island by public transport. From Gothenburg, it takes about 1:45 hours. You travel by two buses and two free ferries, whose timetable can be found on the Internet under Trafikverket and Nordöleden. On Knippla you walk about 7-8 minutes to the house. Knippla is a tranquil archipelago with a Coop, two restaurants and a beach bar. There is a sauna, an outdoor gym and a nice circular path. We would book there and in Ellen's house again anytime. We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the house of ingela. The pictures on the website matches. The beds are nice and the kitchen is fully furnished (plenty of pans, glasses, etc.). The pool is wonderful, there are games…Excellent hostess. The area is really beautiful, so much to see and do.

So quiet and peaceful house by a lake. I would like be back here when I come to Sweden. Liisa is so kind and reply fast.

Great lovely home, close to everything plus go garden. Ideal for an outing with family or friends!

Hanna’s place feels like a home from home

My family (two adults, two kids 7 and 3) had a fabulous holiday at Andreas' house. The location is amazing and the view is fantastic. My kids had a wonderful time playing by the water's edge and looking for crabs and fish. The house has everything you need, was super clean and perfectly set up. There is beautiful morning sun and lovely evening light which stays on the jetty/deck area for hours. It was too cold for us to swim but this didn't matter as the sun was warm enough and we had a lovely time outside. The island of Brännö was also glorious - lush greenery and flowers, beautiful houses, good cycling tracks to get around - and using bikes makes it a lot easier. The shop on the island was excellent too - had everything we needed. The walk from the ferry was about 25 mins - but fine in the nice weather - and the house was easy to find. All in all - strongly recommend!

The house was just as described: very beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The communication was very pleasant, and Malin was always available. The highlight for the kids was the ping-pong table in the basement.

Beautiful house located very close to ocean and with easy access to the city. The house is large and beautifully appointed. We traveled with our 4 adult children and their spouses including our grandson age two. 9 adults total. Plenty of space and privacy for us all. The dining room and kitchen are spacious enough for family breakfasts and dinners. Basement had a great family room for late night movies. Loved the bathrooms! Everything was spotless! Just a lovely stay in a lovely house! Thank you so much.

We had a good dialogue well before the holiday. Marcus was quick to respond to messages if there was anything we were wondering about. We got great tips on what we could do during our stay. The house was so nice, with a good and nice patio. We used a bus to Gothenburg during the whole stay and it was a nice travel route and fit far. Fitted fine with free commuter parking next to the bus stop. I would recommend the swimming area at Hovås for those who want to swim.

we felt home from the first moment, what struck us really how complete and well prepared the house was. we were astonished to see that an owner shares such a beautiful place with an airbnb client. we loved every moment, the pristine views, the calmness of the area and beauty of the lake. really 10 out of 10 points and Daniel was a super kind and responsive host even though he travelled in India. thank you so much

Amazing place, in the middle of nature and inspiring architecture

A great spot for a family to explore Gothenburg and the surrounding area. Easy to get into the city and a lovely garden to enjoy the evenings!

We have had an absolutely fantastic week in Per and Annika's lovely house. A big and elegant house in a very beautiful place. If you book, just enjoy yourself. The house and garden have many zones to play in, so you can both gather or find a hook for yourself. The icing on the cake is, of course, the pool, which was used throughout the day. The garden is undisturbed and it is not noticeable that there are neighbors. Recommend a visit both to Restaurant Pir in Kullavik and Blomstermåla in Särö. The convenience store has very good selection and is up late. We really recommend this house and the communication with Per has been completely smooth.

We are really happy! Great house, great location, delicious and clean pool. The landlord gave us extremely helpful and clear notes on our own writing that we were sent before we arrived. Very welcoming family.

The home was absolutely stunning. Clean, tidy, and organized. The home exudes love, quiet, and peacefulness! In every way worth a visit. Thanks to Hanna and family and see you soon!

It's a beautiful place with excellent views. The house has a nice open plan kitchen diner, great for hanging out with friends and family. This connects to the large decked area where the swimming pool is. The pool area sees the sun most of the day, and the pool is very nice indeed. The bedrooms are good size and beds are comfy. Upstairs is large lounge area with a super comfy sofa, big TV and excellent views towards the coast, and a cheeky sauna snuck into a corner. The whole place as a feeling of quality with great design touches. The area is nice and quiet, within walking distance to great coastline with nice places to go for a swim. Tjörn with more beeches and cosy seaside villages are a short drive away. The local area feels quite residential and don't expect a large selection of restaurants within walking distance. The local pizza, burgers, Thai food place was however good so there are local eating options when you can't be bothered to cook. Excellent place, would recommend!

Central but peaceful place with plenty of space. Lots of amenities. Absolutely great with pool and large patio for the kids. Host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
