Bridge Cottage on the edge of the Cairngorms.

We had a fantastic stay at Bridge Cottage. Koos and Carolyn are lovely hosts and have made a fantastic job of renovating the beautiful cottage, which has everything you will need and all the small homely details make it amazing. The log burner was great and the outdoor storage for our bikes was perfect. The welcome pack was 1st class and greatly appreciated. The location is beautiful with lots to do in the local area. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.
The exterior of Stronavaich is showcased with a unique architectural design, featuring a circular turret. The white façade is complemented by a slate roof and surrounded by vibrant flowers and shrubs, enhancing the natural setting amid the scenic landscape.

Secluded Highland Getaway

ReidRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Great place in the country. Went to the Braemar Gathering, to Elgin, and to the Mountains using this as our base camp. Rooms were comfortable, but a little cold until heat came on in the morning. Kitchen is very small, but got the job done for the four of us. Beautiful country in and around Tomintoul.
A serene winter landscape is captured, showcasing a partially frozen lake surrounded by snow-dusted trees and forested hills. The gentle ripples on the water's surface reflect the soft hues of a cloudy sky, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

Highland cabin

Lovely cabin, exactly as described. Portia was responsive and helpful. The place was spotless. Beautiful surroundings area, and a good place to stay for a base if exploring the local area, or using it while travelling around Scotland. Would definitely stay again!
An aerial view showcases a quaint cottage surrounded by expansive green fields and trees. The meandering River Deveron is visible nearby, with rolling hills in the background under a clear blue sky. The spacious grounds invite opportunities for outdoor relaxation.

Drumurnie, cosy cottage

JosiahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Carol was a lovely host, coming personally to check in on us when we arrived and let us know the ins and outs of the place. Carol also was very responsive to questions and provided directions to the place without asking. Driving in and out of the town presents some lovely views, and the town is a great spot for doing walks in the Caingorns.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Stephen’s zen lodge was an absolute gem. We had an incredible night here , the lodge is beautiful as are the surrounds , so cosy and Stephen has clearly gone to a lot of effort in making a folio he left us full of recommendations of things to do in the area . The whiskey, tablet and shortbread was just the icing on the cake of what was already an environment that made us feel instantly at home . Only wish we’d stayed longer . Absolutely recommend .

We had a wonderful time in the house. It is spacious for 8 people with modern, well-equipped kitchen and dining area and three bathrooms. It is furnished with good taste and was absolutely clean. We were really satisfied and would happily return. Good location for different trips in the area.

Cosy Shepard’s hut with beautiful views

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A wonderful place to relax in the peace and quiet of Perthshire's beautiful countryside. Hamish and Liberty are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home. The hike up the hill is a must, and expected to be joined by their lovely labrador Bracken! The shepherd's hut itself has everything you could possibly need and is warm and cosy especially if it rains most of the night like it did for us!
