We had a wonderful stay at Cassidy and Stephen’s cottage! The place is beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and ideally located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families, with plenty of toys and books for the kids to enjoy. The communication with Cassidy and Stephen was very smooth throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a cozy and family friendly getaway.

Balm Beach Bungalow - 3 bedrooms

We had an amazing stay at this Balm Beach Airbnb! The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep every night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better—just steps (literally less than a minute!) from the beach. There’s also a beautiful creek right outside that added to the peaceful, natural setting. We loved the cozy fireplaces both inside and out, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Nicole was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place, and we hope to come back again soon!

The Beach House Licence#: STRTT-2024-028

AtifRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Place was nice amd cosy for our family break in winter. Great toys collectiom for 2 years old, good books collection for older kids. Only downside was that it didn't have microwave which was tricky with 2 yr old especially when trying to warm up milk quickly. TV could have been bigger fpr the space but it was still good enough. Ian was very helpful and responsove during our stay, he got snow cleaned promptly during our stay.

Cottage in Tiny

This is a gem find. It was so comfortable and situated 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The kitchen was very well equipped the fire pit, the BBQ the outdoor sitting areas were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. There is a huge TV with so many channels and content to watch. So easy to settle into a movie after dinner. Very comfortable sitting area. We were 3 adults and we all had space to have some downtime and also to enjoy our company. We would swim and go for 5 km beach walks and drive to very cute small towns and discover the tasty bakeries and cool stores. Everyone we met was so lovely and very relaxed. We had a wonderful time and recommend this pace to everyone. Peaceful, fully equipped, comfortable and 3 minutes from a beautiful beach! What can be better. Thanks Miguel for your clear communications and your helpful suggestions. We had a blast!

The Hideaway Balm Beach Cottage

Kathryn Rating, 5 stars3 months ago
For my birthday last weekend, I was looking for a cottage to getaway for work and to celebrate, and I immediately fell in love with this cozy little house when I saw it. It has everything I could ask for to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like home. I spent my birthday here, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The Scandinavian interior style is my absolute favorite, and every detail of the decor and soft furnishings was perfectly chosen. It’s clear that the owner, Lina, put a lot of thought and care into making this space feel like a true home for visitors. Each room was spotless, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Lina is incredibly understanding and accommodating. We all had an amazing time and are so grateful for this experience. Five stars aren’t enough to express how much we enjoyed our stay and how this beautiful house made our birthday weekend so memorable. Highly recommend!

Your guide to Tiny

All About Tiny

Set on the Penetanguishene peninsula in Ontario, the township of Tiny sprawls across 43 miles of coastline along Georgian Bay, the eastern arm of Lake Huron. Tiny, which was named after the town founder’s pet dog in 1822, is a popular summer destination for travelers seeking time on the lake’s sandy beaches and expansive blue waters. The entire peninsula is a haven for boating enthusiasts, and you’ll find many ferries that go to nearby islands.

True to its name, Tiny is compact, with just a few beachside restaurants and shops. You don’t come to Tiny for the city scene, however, but the numerous outdoor activities such as swimming, sailing, or just floating on a raft in the calm lake waters. Just 10 minutes away, the larger city of Penetanguishene is worth visiting to visit its picturesque protected harbors.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Tiny

Ontario has warm summers, making the season a perfect time to visit Tiny and spend your time on or by the lake. The humidity increases along with the temperatures, making dips in the water especially appealing, and be sure to bring mosquito repellent and long-sleeve clothing if you’re planning on staying outdoors as night falls. The biggest celebration of the summer is Canada Day on July 1, when the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum hosts food and games. The leaves change color in the early part of October, making fall a beautiful time to explore the area. Winters can be bitterly cold here, but as Canadians know, you can still enjoy the coldest of winters if you dress for it. The annual Winterama Festival in Penetanguishene in February features snow sculptures, toboggan races, and winter games for all ages. Once the snow melts in March and April, springtime in Tiny is a beautiful time to hike on the local trails.
