Family-friendly vacation rentals in Thredbo

We had a wonderful stay over the Easter weekend. The apartment is quite spacious and had all the amenities needed. We appreciated the sustainable and earth friendly choices in small things such as coffee pods, toilet paper, etc. Beds were super comfy. Extra bedding options were helpful. We would happily come back and recommend the place to others.

Beautiful place in a nice area. Amazing views from the master bedroom and bathroom, we were lucky to have clear skies. A great place to recharge surrounded by nature and wildlife. And great thanks again for accommodating the horse-riding on such short notice (we didn't know it was possible!). Kids loved it so much, best Christmas gift!

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was neat and tidy and thoughtful of Katya for leaving generous breakfast provisions. The place was exactly as depicted on the Airbnb and the views were splendid. Beds were comfortable and rooms cosy

The perfect house for our large group of 15 people with dogs in tow. We made good use of the new BBQ and fire pit to enjoy the great views from the garden. Would come again, 5 stars.

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. Very warm with great open fire and slow combustion heater. Heaps of games , pool table converts to table tennis table and darts board. Very convenient to both Perisher valley via ski tube, and thredbo for great father/son ski weekend.

We came to the area for my son's wedding. Tristan's cottage was in the perfect spot. We loved the cosiness of the place, the quiet, and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We would’ve liked to have some shampoo etc in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

We, a family of four plus dog and in laws, absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Art House! We felt at home the moment we entered this unique and quirky house. We loved its homely feel, its unique built and the intriguing art work in and around the house. Lots of space for everyone and Heidi and family are lovely and helpful with whatever we needed. Thank you!

Super nice views of the lake, only 7-8 mins into the nearest town and close to Selwyn snowfields (which is why I chose to stay here). Careful driving in/out early/late at night, LOTS of animals on the roads (cool for my passengers!). Was provided a free loaf of super nice sourdough bread upon arrival (which I enjoyed!) The house was warm, and the host offered to restock the wood fire each day (it was winter) and it was lovely coming back to a super warm/toasty place. Beds were comfortable, although one of the 'rooms' is just a corner with a curtain so not super private but for a family it's fine. Host was super responsive and helpful. No wifi, which is described in the listing - but I had 0 Vodafone reception (Telstra was OK) so if this is important to you you should consider this. This did give my kids a chance to experience using a DVD player for the first time in their life! haha (great choice of movies). Would stay here again.

5 stars – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The space was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed, from cozy bedding to a well-stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet conveniently located near great restaurants, shops, and attractions. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation. Very clean, comfortable lounge and was great to have amenities such as free car park, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, heating. The location is very peaceful and we saw wild deer walking past the property which was a great experience to truly feel like we were away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful view of the mountains from the property, we felt very relaxed. Thank you for letting us stay and we hope to return one time in the future.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Jindabyne look no further than this place! This was exactly the space my partner and I were looking for to experience a weekend away. Beautiful views of lake Jindy, nice big bed, lots of space to store ski clothes, and a nice bathtub shower. The location was easy to find, included a car space so our car didn’t get frosty, and was less than 30mins away from Perisher. Would recommend staying here to anyone! We will be back!

Best location, you can walk to shops. The view from the balcony is better than what I expected. Everything was really good. :)

Great value for a fantastic location with a beautiful view. Our host was quick to respond and very friendly and helpful, and the house was just as pictured. The kids loved the pool and the fire was cosy in the evening.
