Pet-friendly vacation rentals in The Grove

Cute, historical home on a dead end street in a neat neighborhood. It's got charm and character, our family of five enjoyed our stay. Nicely furnished with comfortable bedding. Super close to all the attractions, we got to the zoo without even getting on the interstate. We will definitely look this place up if we come back to STL. We were a bit apprehensive about having neighbors so close but we didn't hear them at all in three days. The kitchen is pretty large with amble items to make your meals there. Backyard is peaceful. It's not a new home, so you can expect some older items but they've done a great job with this place. If you are super tall (over 6'4") you might find the basement a bit tight fit for you but upstairs is good. I'd recommend to friends to stay here. Brenden was super responsive, kind, and helpful.

The place was exactly as described. Loved that there were plenty of supplies (coffee, paper towels, tp, cleaning supplies). Nice towels for the bathrooms.I would stay there again.

Ann’s place was perfect for our group of 10! We liked the space the house provided - the living room and kitchen area were great for dinners and watching movies together. We could all sit down at the big table for meals. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils we needed to cook breakfast and dinner…and the coffee maker and ice machine were great! Our daughter enjoyed playing the piano! The 5 rooms had enough comfortable beds for all of us and it was convenient that there was a bathroom on each of the three floors. The master bedroom had a nice shower and soaking tub! Challenges we had was getting our luggage up and down the stairs. Also, the house address is at the end of a blocked street. There is street parking in front of the house, but if you want to park in the enclosed garage, you need to drive around the block to get to the garage. It’s easy to figure out once you see it. You need a remote or Genie code from Antoinette to get in. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ann!

Great place, close to Union Station, lots of great restaurants near by. Home is large, we had 8 with us and it was comfortable.

Cozy home in a charming neighborhood … Fabulous hosts!!

Loved this home! Such a pretty house and decorated to make it feel like a home and also make you feel invited and comfortable to be there. The house has lots of history and was fun to read about its origins as well as admire the old photos on display. The yard is nicely landscaped and we enjoyed our first meal on the cute patio. Rich was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Loved the location- we walked to the Soulard Farmers Market as recommended by Rich. It was the best FM I have been to! We also walked to the arch one morning. This is a great home and Rich is a great host- I can't wait to plan another trip to St Louis for a baseball game and hope to be able to snag this home again.

An absolutely beautiful, spacious home with a gorgeous, chic interior, right down the street from Tower Grove and plenty of delicious eats, as well as a short drive from the Arch and the heart of the city. Our stay was perfect, we couldn’t have possibly asked for more. I would recommend this home 1000% and would be thrilled to stay again!!!

Scott was a fantastic host and the place was awesome. The only "complaint" we had was there was a tornado (not Scott's fault - duh) about 3 miles away the day after we arrived. There was no damage where we were at, but the power went out and remained off for about 24 hours. I just wish Scott would have had some flashlights and candles in the house, but there were not any, and because he was out of town that weekend we kind of had to fend for ourselves. Other than that, the place was awesome and Scott said he would refund us $120 for the spoiled food in the fridge that we bought the day before. Minus the "act of God" tornado, the visit was great!

Good place to stay for a little getaway

I never write reviews - but this host went above and beyond on numerous occasions. Communication was the best I’ve ever experienced - and I highly recommend The Stay and the property.

Our second stay at Skullbones, and definitely not our last. Kristi is a consummate host, accommodating. Absolutely adore the waterfalls down at the creek - brings out my inner child every time. Kristi gave us a chance to peek in on the Lodge before we left this last time and OMG every inch is gorgeous. Working on getting a crew together to visit again soon and leveling up ♥️

It's a wonderful place that I lived almost four months in here. It's clean and calm and with all sufficient appliances and supplies to support a convenient life. The owner is very kind and helpful as well.

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Tracey has created a lovely little haven. Her space exudes peace and comfort and provides all one could want for a short or longer stay. The park across the street was a great place to take my dog for walks. Grocery and other stores are nearby and the freeway is easily accessible. Tracey is a welcoming and thoughtful host.

My family and I LOVED are short stay at this beautiful location! It was extremely peaceful and just as it was stated in the description. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to stay here again.

This was a great place to stay while exploring St. Louis and a great value. The place is exactly as described and is very spacious, with a living room, big kitchen, and good-sized bathroom and bedroom, and Jill is a great, proactive host. Others have mentioned that the immediate surrounding area isn't the best (which is true), but the street itself is very well lit, quiet, and I never felt uncomfortable coming or going, including once getting back later at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay at! Close proximity to the city and all that it has to offer. Frances was very polite and respectful, and quick to respond to any questions that we had while on our trip!

I really enjoyed the stay a lot the house was so clean and felt very welcoming to be there I loved the walk way and the garden it was very lovely and they were very friendly everyone who was there was Chris responded very quickly and was so helpful lots of things to do not that far away and good restaurants nearby.

We loved our stay at Marie’s place! We felt right at home. Everything was clean and it was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to do and all the main attractions. The neighborhood was adorable and felt very safe. That’s important to us because we have two little ones. Marie was so sweet and checked in to make sure it was going well. We would love to stay again.

We had an amazing stay with JZ rentals! My wife, her friend and I were thoroughly impressed with the house and it's amenities. We probably could have just stayed there the whole time and played the games that are on site or just enjoyed a lazy day lounging in a very clean and beautiful setting while having our favorite adult beverages. There are many great restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. We got to enjoy a comedy show at the Pageant and it was a very short Uber ride from the house to there as well as to Delmar Avenue for the night life. We all were thoroughly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

Sophie's place was in a quiet part of South St. Louis near Carondelet Park. It was a small house with two bedrooms, a nice kitchen, and a very nice back room that was like a porch. Mornings were nice there-- very quiet, no traffic. There is a very nice touch in the living room--an enormous picture of a Highland cow, that sort of set off the house itself.

Beautiful “castle like” apartment that feels so regal. The finishes are amazing. The location is central to many things and parking was in included. Carrie was an awesome and accommodating hostess. I will definitely stay again if in STL for fun!

My husband & I can’t share a big enough thanks re Metropolitan Flats. We spent 3 months away from home in this condo as my husband had a stem cell transplant at Siteman Cancer Center - Barnes which is directly across the street. As I was by myself for 5 wks while my husband was in the hospital, I always felt super safe in this location & the condo was very secure. The property manager/office staff, were always so kind & helpful & went above & beyond. The condo was wonderful with windows that overlook the beautiful, outdoor commons area. The unit had a kitchen with all appliances you have in your own home. Full-size washer/dryer was another great amenity. Loved the fitness room & beautiful lobby area, too. Owners were always available for questions & to offer assistance in such a timely manner. They were fantastic to connect with & were always so friendly & helpful, too. If we were staying in the Central West End in the future, we would definitely stay here again.
