Monthly Rentals in The Great Lakes

We absolutely loved our stay at Krista and Andre's bunkie. The island was so peaceful and beautiful that we weren't even bothered by the rain and cold weather. Andre and Krista were always quick to reply, and made it easy to coordinate our boat ride to the island. Andre made us feel right at home and even went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay despite the weather. We enjoyed reading on the deck (which has the most amazing view of the lake), and going for a paddle. Andre was also kind enough to find a lost item of ours and keep it safe until we can pick it up, which we really appreciated. We look forward to returning in the future!

OMG - we LOVED IT HERE and literally started talking about when we were coming back immediately when we left. Melissa and Ryan are super communicative and the directions make a private, secluded place really easy to find. The location is great because you’re 10 mins from Big Bay (smaller town, a few places to eat, moderate cell service) and 20 mins from Marquette (bigger town, better service) and ridiculously close to amazing hikes and nature. But with all the hikes, overlooks, etc so close, all we wanted to do was hang at Melissa and Ryan’s sugar shack. It felt like the best parts of camping, but even better. The site is so secluded, so it’s like camping with no neighboring sites and with a ridiculously cozy, sweet house with big windows, heat, great books and the ability to cook, sleep and relax. We bought some of Ryan’s beautiful ceramics and camp wood and fresh eggs on site. Thank you, Melissa and Ryan, for sharing with us!

What a special location to get away from the noise of the city without being too far away. Charming set up, and had everything you need.

Eric was extremely responsive from start to finish. My daughter and I stayed in the mini cabin for a peaceful and private getaway while we were in the area to visit a local zoo. The cabin was elegantly simple, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and cozy stay. We were truly saddened to leave this beautiful and tranquil environment. I look forward to returning in the fall and winter. The view is stunning and we really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. Our stay was a special experience with memories to last us a lifetime. Thank you, Eric, for creating such an amazingly beautiful space for us to stay and explore!
