Everything was fantastic! Such great hosts and such a beautiful property and location. The sunsets every night were beautiful. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, perfect for any occasion.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. The location was beautiful—surrounded by nature, peaceful, and very private. It was just what we needed to unwind and take a break. The quiet setting made it easy to relax, and we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a lovely natural spot.

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

What a dream of a trip to Muskoka! Eight of my friends and I stayed at this lovely cottage and had the most amazing time. The cottage itself is absolutely gorgeous and felt so welcoming, providing the perfect backdrop for our long-overdue get-together. Our host Ashley, was an absolute gem – always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating. We were so touched when they offered us an extra night because of some minor issues that were completely out of their hands. It just shows how much they care about their guests' experience. We're already dreaming of our next visit; this cottage is definitely the place we'll return to!

My friends and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and it was just what we needed/wanted in a little cottage. Great location for those coming from the GTA and nice and close for those in Simcoe. Once we got there we felt right at home! The hosts had cleared the walking paths and back deck of any recent snow fall which made it nice and easy to get inside and enjoy the grounds. They went above and beyond by having the wood burning stove going for us when we checked in which made CARL that much more cozy and welcoming. Communication and instructions were very clear and detailed from start to finish which made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. My friends and I look forward to coming back to CARL in the future!

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

Loved the location, was a great place for a girls trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bay gets a bit rougher than we expected so we sadly did not get to venture out on the kayaks. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect for evenings relaxing and hanging out. It was very buggy with lots of mosquitos even with the breeze so would recommend bringing repellant options.

This is our second time renting from Bryan and it was another absolute pleasure. His place is very clean and peaceful! The cottage is very comfortable and inviting, plus the water is excellent. We would highly recommend anyone to consider renting from him. Thank you for another great trip!!

My husband and I both loved the whole concept of Carol's Cottage! Like everyone has mentioned pictures definitely don't do it justice!! Wow, was the first word expressed as we walked through the door into the cottage! Carol's place is so unique, so different from other places we have stayed at. We both loved the wood and stone in the kitchen area, especially the countertop, so.....beautiful!! My husband and I were very pleased with instructions to find Carol's place and to get inside. The cottage was also very neat and tidy and everything was provided for all our needs! I found things so cozy and relaxing within the cottage, especially each morning having my tea and watching birds come to the feeder on the window (great idea by the way!) Both my husband and I would love to come back and experience more! I would highly recommend Carol's Cottage for your next getaway!!

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Matt is great to deal with. The cottage was awesome and Dave the neighbour is super helpful and nice. Don’t be scared of river crossing it was smooth and seamless and made everything even more fun. Matt is a good guy and helpful with anything that comes up. The property is full of hiking trails and has awesome water access, great fishing, beautiful spot for a coffee in the morning. The deck is perfect for watching the sunset and the screen room is a great getaway if a little rain rolls through. All in all I’m extremely pleased with my stay in all aspects. Highly recommend.

Walker’s Haven is an absolute stunner!!! We came up for a girls weekend and fell in love with it instantly. The interior is gorgeous, just like the photos show, and so cozy while being spacious at the same time. But our favourite feature was the outdoor space The location of the fire pit with its string lights, the second deck by the water, the spacious dock… the whole layout is perfect. The lake is gorgeous, clear and just so peaceful. Also great for fishing! We had a great time, despite not having the best weather, and we hope to come back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

beautiful location , very quiet and private... clean..it had everything we needed.... I only wish I brought more mosquitoe/ black fly repellents... we were unprepared , even as host nicely warned us of black fly season... It was my first experience w black flies and it was quite memorable:) I would still definitely come back.... thank you Bryan!

We loved the cabin and can't wait to return. Everything was in great working order and squicky clean. Our stay was an absolute pleasure.

We're reluctant to post about how good this property is, we'd selfishly like to keep it a secret. The property is just beautiful, with everything you could ever need, and Graham was a fantastic host. The area is just breathtaking. We are avid boaters and had an amazing time exploring the 30,000 islands and all the beautiful beaches, hiking, fishing, and sightseeing they have to offer. If you aren't into boating, there are water taxis and plenty to do on the island, fire pits, games, a beautiful sun deck, relaxing hammocks, the list goes on. We would recommend this 100%, and we felt very lucky that Graham and his family shared it with us. We hope to return at least once next summer. Thank you to Graham, Tennille and Jane for a wonderful getaway.

Beautiful area and home, quiet location for a peaceful vacation. Local shops and winery were dog friendly. Lots of trails and parks near by if you love hiking and being outdoors. 10/10 would visit again.

We had a great time at this lovely waterfront cottage on a small lake that’s easily accessible from Parry Sound. The cottage has been updated but retains its charm. Everything was clean and comfortable. Location is quiet, save for the occasional small airplane overhead from the nearby municipal airport. The sand beach is easy to access and weed free. The canoe, kayaks and SUP provided for use were appreciated. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

We had an amazing girls weekend at this cozy cottage! The space was perfect – just the right amount of room for our group to relax, play games, and enjoy some quality time together. It was colder than expected, but the cottage was warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape. Heidi was a fantastic host – super helpful, kind, and easy to communicate with. We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

What a glorious setting! Peaceful location with nature all around. We didn’t see or hear any neighbours - utter tranquility compared to our usual hectic schedule/ semi-urban surroundings. The house was easy to find with clear instructions; there were thoughtful additions such as a full log basket, plenty of loo roll, laundry detergent, basic cooking supplies like oil/ seasonings and extra towels were available if required. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into making it homely. Host was responsive and helpful with recommendations and instructions - even maps of the best canoeing spots! We had a very peaceful stay and teenage kids loved it - even though it was autumn, we still enjoyed the lake, swam, hiked, went canoeing, and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. If you’re looking for a city rush with lots of buzz, look elsewhere; for peace, beauty and the outdoors immediately available, this is a great spot!

Had a great time at cottage. Great Location on a nice calm Lake. Very easy check-in. Staff very friendly. Very Clean and nice kitchen and BBQ. Would definitely recommend staying here. The Dome and other huts on property would be fun to stay at as well. Have already recommended this property and will probably be back.
