North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. Perfect spot for relaxation, nature, cycling, golf, water sports and culinary delights. More information about the house can be found in the photos.

Pure relaxation: Vacation behind the old lake dike

The holiday apartment is in an idyllic, quiet location on the edge of one of the most beautiful villages of the Eiderstedt peninsula: the Wasserkoog, directly on the old sea dyke. To the south, the garden with old trees borders directly on the "Altneukooger" Sielzug (a picturesque watercourse) and offers a beautiful view over the Eiderstadt countryside and vastness. The former stable building for sheep and goats from 1925 offers modern coziness in a historical ambience.

Our small apartment is for people without demands. (e.g. no dishwasher & freezer) It is on our property in the annex with private entrance & terrace, which is fenced. If you are looking for solitude, this is the wrong place, as our path leads past the terrace. You are rarely alone. Dogs are just as welcome as children. Attention: we have two Hovawarts. Oldenswort is a good starting point for excursions. ‼ ️There is a lot of traffic due to the expansion of the B‼️

The apartment is very comfortably furnished and modernly equipped. It is located on the 2nd floor of a completely newly built farmhouse in 2011 in the middle of fields - pure nature & tranquility. The approx. 41 square meters offer plenty of space. A pet is welcome. Smart TV and fast internet are provided. The house is equipped with underfloor heating. Right outside the door you will find sheep and cattle pastures that invite you to take walks or bike rides. The Westerhever Lighthouse is only 5-6 km away. Not far from Poppenbüll you will find the Evershop Siel swimming area. Excursions to Sankt Peter Ording, Büsum, Husum or Friedrichstadt provide a nice change from the quiet country life in Poppenbüll.
