Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Telemark

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold! Utsikten over Hellefjorden var rett og slett magisk – det var som å våkne opp til et postkort hver morgen. Leiligheten var utrolig koselig og innbydende, perfekt for å slappe av. Vertene var vennlige og hjelpsomme, og vi følte oss hjemme fra første stund. Vi vil definitivt komme tilbake hit igjen – tusen takk for et minnerikt opphold!

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Wir waren eine Woche über Silvester in der Unterkunft von Marco. Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen, einem Kind, zwei Kleinkindern und einem Hund dort. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und vor allem ausreichend groß für uns alle. Es war sauber und alles Wichtige an Ausstattung war vor Ort. Der Ausblick war unglaublich schön (vor allem aus dem Jacuzzi) und die Natur drumherum perfekt zum spazieren gehen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und was sehr positiv hervor zu heben ist, war die Kommunikation mit Marco. Er war stets freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Schade fanden wir lediglich, dass das Feuerholz nicht im Preis enthalten war, da wir dies so aus anderen Unterkünften kennen und dass einige Dinge draußen verteilt lagen (Spülbürste, Wischmopp, Grillrost). Da hatten wir uns ein bisschen gewundert, störte uns aber nicht weiter. Ist also meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wenn die Welt nicht so groß wäre, würden wir mit Sicherheit noch einmal wieder kommen.

Ingunn is an amazing host and their Airbnb place is truly a gem of a cabin! The pictures from the listing does not do justice to how wonderful the cabin is. The cabin has a massive jacuzzi with its own area and seating, right by the balcony where the grill is situated - perfect for a social gathering settings. 4 spacious rooms with 1 of the rooms having an en suite bathroom. Living room has enough seats to sit over 10 people. There's also a big TV + dvd player + lots of movies to choose from. There's also board games like ludo, millionaire +more! Lovely clean swimming pool nearby with a little shop ( recommend visiting). Kitchen had all the utensils needed but would recommend bringing metal utensils for grilling (we couldn't find any). Only negatives were that the toilet/bathroom had some corners with insects/webs and the mattresses weren't that clean, had some bits on them (we brought our own bedding) Overall, I would highly recommend this place, we'll be visiting again!

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold! Huset var akkurat som beskrevet – rent, romslig og fullt av sjarm. Verten var imøtekommende og lett å kommunisere med. Alt fungerte som det skulle, og vi følte oss virkelig hjemme. Anbefales på det varmeste!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy Airbnb! The place was warm and inviting, with a stunning view of the nearby waterfall — truly a treat to wake up to. The amenities were top-notch: we enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi, unwinding in the massage chair, and having fun with the table tennis setup. There were plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained too. Grilling outside was a highlight of our trip, and the whole experience felt peaceful and private. The location is also perfect — very close to Gaustatoppen, which made our outings convenient and scenic. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature!

Bardzo ładny i nowoczesny domek, było parę rzeczy które myślę że warto poprawić w przyszłości. Brakowało podstawowych rzeczy takich jak papier toaletowy czy mydło do rąk. Był długi weekend wolny także ciężko było nabyć te produkty. Myślę że warto pomyśleć nad doświetleniem na tarasie przy jaccuzzi, brak oświetlenia powodował że ciężej korzystało się z bani z ciepła woda i grilla gdy już słońce zaszło :) ogólnie bardzo przyjemna okolica, szybki kontakt z właścicielem i czysty nowoczesny domek :)

Wonderful accommodation with stunning views. The house sits at the top of a hill and there are beautiful views from many of the windows. The house has many different areas to sit both inside and out. We enjoyed watching the boating activity in the fjords. Brevik is quaint and has 2 lovely ice-cream shops and a small beach. Perfect for a relaxing holiday!

We had a great week in Fredriks house. Brevik is such a cozy little town. We were surprised about the busy road just outside the entrance, but we forgot it in a heartbeat when we saw the view. Stunning! Warm recommendations :)

A perfect, tranquil setting close to our desired loacation/activity of ice climbing. The views over the lake are sublime. The facilities are excellent and squeaky clean! Homely, quirky and comfortable! Thank you for having us! We'd love to come back!

Wat een leuke ervaring om te verblijven in een blokhut. Deze is overigens zelfs gemaakt door Karl, hartstikke knap. Via andere reviews waren we gewezen op het gebruik van de sauna. Wat was dat een geweldige ervaring. De sauna staat 500 m verderop, waar je volledig afgeschermd bent. In ieder geval nu, omdat de natuurcamping niet druk was. Daardoor konden we afkoelen in de beek. De sauna is een echte aanrader! Tevens de enige mogelijkheid om te kunnen douchen. Dit was in de buitenlucht. Het is misschien een nieuwe ervaring, maar wij hebben er van genoten. Dank je wel Satu en Karl!

Vi hadde et helt nydelig opphold i denne flotte hytta på Veggli. Omgivelsene var rolige og stille, med vakker natur rett utenfor døren – perfekt for avslapning og turer. Hytta holder høy standard og er svært godt utstyrt, med alt man trenger av kjøkkenutstyr og mer til. Vi stortrivdes, og dette er definitivt et sted vi gjerne kommer tilbake til i fremtiden.

Kjempe fin hytte med alt man trenger. Koselig med boblebad. Verten var kjempe hyggelig og svarte raskt om vi lurte på noe. Vi drar gjerne hit igjen😀

Nous n’avons passé que 2 jours chez Therese et Mikael mais ces 2 journées étaient top! Nous aurions pu rester plus longtemps pour profiter de la vue et du calme du logement. Tout est bien pensé. Il y a de la place pour profiter de l’extérieur et tout le confort nécessaire si nous devons rester à l’intérieur pour le climat par exemple. Mikael a été très réactif lorsque nous lui avons demandé un service, la communication est agréable et réactive! Si vous souhaitez un petit coin de paradis sur Terre , c’est le bon endroit!
