The cabin is particularly well suited for families with children and has toys, as well as various games and books. Hovden offers fantastic natural surroundings and numerous activities year-round, including hiking, bike trails, hunting and fishing, swimming, downhill skiing, and an extensive cross-country ski trail network, as well as an ice rink, a golf course, and a shooting range (clay pigeons). There is a large water park/fitness center in the city center.

The area offers year-round activities such as hiking trails, roller skiing, frisbee golf and via ferrata. Here you can really enjoy nice days off with activities, nature, and coziness by the fireplace. Family cabin with hot tub and great views

The cabin is located high up and sunny with great views and good outdoor areas, incl. large terrace, fire pan and fire place. Inside you will find a cozy atmosphere with room for the whole family (maybe even more families?), plenty of beds and a lovely fireplace. The summer offers hiking and cycling opportunities right outside the door, with fishing and bathing water, great nature and terrain. In winter, it is 100m to the nearest ski slope and about 8min to the alpine slope. There are both birds and squirrels on the terrace, feel free to bring suitable food.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

We also operates Haukeli Husky who offers dogsledding summer and winter. You are of course welcome to visit our kennel and our 55 friends when you are our guest.
