We are located on Taylor Creek less then a 100 yards from a public launch and just over a mile from the lock into Lake Okeechobee. Dock your boat or kayak at our dock, which has electric, if needed. For those quiet or rainy days the gaming room provides fun and excitement to your family. We were looking for a peaceful getaway and that's exactly what we found at the "twins red cabin escape"! I've always wanted to live in a log home and this gave me the opportunity to do so for a few days. We really enjoyed the porches. The one off the living room was most enjoyable as it was in the shade with a nice breeze and had a porch swing. A nice view was to be had out every window. Surrounded by farm animals (Goats, sheep, donkeys, guinea hens, turkey, ducks and horses in the distance). The loft beds were very comfortable. You could get lost in the downstairs shower, lol. VERY roomy! Our dogs had fun running in the fenced yard. We would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to escape the hustle and bustle of life.
