Whether its a romantic weekend for two or a base for your adrenalin packed holiday around the central plateau, you will find our cosy cottage an ideal base. Please note,great views also mean a bit of a climb. We have 33 steps up to our door. If you have mobility needs please check the photos before booking. This apartment block was built in 1976, so does look old and tired on the outside.

Lovely, 1-bedroom, self contained unit, double glazed windows. Own courtyard in a sunny garden, the courtyard includes a private area for you to lockup 2 bikes. Close to Taupo lake and town. This unit is in the lower part of our home, which is a 2-storey building. Your access, courtyard and living areas are all completely separate from ours, with off street parking. Your privacy during your stay is our utmost consideration and therefore we take all steps necessary to leave you to relax.

A private entrance leads upstairs to a light airy and sunny bedroom and ensuite. Views of the lake from the front window. Parking right outside the door, walk 750meters to town to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes. Ski slopes are just over an hour away.
