Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

The Gardener’s Greenhouse is a peaceful studio on 2 hectares of land overlooking a garden, wetlands and cycle trail beyond. It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. My place is a sunny, charming bijou apartment in an 1880s villa, just a 10-min walk to the historic cathedral, cafés, alfresco dining, and the famous Nelson Saturday Market. It’s close to the Maitai River, with cycle paths, walks, swimming spots, and picnic areas. There is a private outdoor garden with lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, grapes and feijoas. My place comfortably sleeps two, with an en-suite bathroom. A fold-out chair bed and extra bedding can accommodate a third guest if needed. Enjoy!

Beachfront -Stunning views!

Tidy and peaceful apartment on the beachfront in Motueka. There is a beautiful beach trail conveniently located in front of the property. A short stroll to a children’s playground and the Motueka Saltwater Baths. A few minutes further down the trail you reach the Motueka wharf and Coastal Cafe, an excellent Coffee stop. There is also a beautiful reserve across the road from the apartment which has a wonderful trail weaving amongst the native trees where you will also see lots of native birds.

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. Two bedrooms: each with a king bed which can be split into two singles. *Please state which bed arrangement you will be needing* EV or PLUG IN HYBRIDS: it is not possible to charge these vehicles overnight.
