Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

Recently renovated, with a new modern kitchen & open plan living, Harakeke is a beautiful wee house on the hill with stunning views to the sea and mountains. Whilst we're sure you'll enjoy relaxing at the house, either inside or on the deck, it is only a 15 minute walk to the beach and amenities in Tahunanui, and a short drive or cycle into Nelson. The Kahurangi and Abel Tasman national parks beckon and are easy day trips. Harakeke is a great base for whatever adventures await!

Enjoy the privacy and quiet of an entire property. The owner will be away staying in his caravan. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy friendly animals and a relaxed setting. Close to Kahurangi NP and The Abel Tasman NP. Beaches 20kms away. Great safe swimming in the Motueka river. Views of Sugar Loaf and the Graham Valley. We have 8 friendly goats. 10 chickens, and a friendly cow that all love fruit from the fruit trees. Also a cat.
