Nestled on a quiet country road in the heart of a vineyard planted on Monte San Nicolo, the accommodation includes 2 buildings, a Palmento from 1902 which houses the wine press and its outbuilding which was once used as a tool shed. The two spaces are united by a corten structure with a slatted roof, which provides a shady open plan kitchen and dining area next to a terrace and 4m x 7m salt water swimming pool, built in lava stone, recreating the the colours of the Etna coastline

Palmento is the place were the grapes used to be crusced to make wine. We thought about the palm of the hands and the concept is to enhance the senses and the creativity. In the open space there is a toilet with solar calendar, a japanise alcova with tatami and futon, a large bath tube, a heater and an antique stereo class A. Guest can admire the sun and moon rising over the sea and the sunset behind the volcano. Palmento is of exclusive use of the guests.

This was the owners' house inside Villa Lionti, a fortified 18th-century lava stone farmhouse. This house has pedestrian and car access and private parking, a private patio, carpets, and fine furniture. The house was renovated in 2026. There are 5 other houses in the villa, all available on Airbnb. The swimming pool is shared with guests of the other houses in the villa. There will always be someone to assist you.
