Old fashioned cosy house has 3 bedroom sleeps up to 5 or 6 ideally located in the gateway of the Shiga Kogen National park. The private house enjoys ample parking and stunning panoramic views of open farmland and the mountains range. You can spend a cool summer away from the hot and humid Japan. Gorgeous hiking routes in Shiga Kogen are 30 minutes drive beyond, which Suzie will suggest the best route for you. 30 mins walkaway to Snow mokey park, 10 mins away to best Hotspring(Waku Waku no yu).

Powder Peaks is an ideal getaway to explore spectacular Mt. Myoko. Our house can accommodate up to 12 guests, and it is just a short 5 minutes drive to the ski lifts as well as all restaurants in Akakura Onsen. It was originally built as a family house in 1987. We purchased this little place in 2019 to transform it into a self contained chalet. We have preserved much of the original feel, but hope that you find the renovations have made the house convenient and comfortable for your stay.
