At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. A 5-minute walk from Oshika station, a new inn in the Funagawa area! Renting the whole house is perfect for families and friends.It is a spacious space with 2 floors. The bed is equipped with 1 king size, 2 semi-double size, and a sofa bed, and we will provide a separate folding mattress and bedding depending on the number of guests.The king and semi-double beds are made with a koala mattress, making it a very comfortable bed. There is a 24-hour convenience store within a 5-minute walk, and you can buy rice and agave sake and craft beer in the refrigerator at any time during your stay. There is also a kitchen, condiments, cooking utensils, etc., so you can cook what you shop at the roadside station, supermarket, etc. We aim to make it a cozy place where you can relax and unwind, like returning to your child's house.Enjoy your stay.

Share Village Machimura

This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).
