Wow what a great cabin for families! We all had our private areas which is great with little ones. Tons of amenities and things to do around the home. Was fully stocked, updated and very clean. All together one or the best rentals I’ve stayed at! Highly recommend :)

The place is super clean and quiet. It seems to be recently remodeled. Appliances are new and easy to use. Convenient for driving to the South Lake Tahoe. The bunker bed provides good flexibility for different combination of travelers. I would definitely recommend and love to stay here again if we visit South Lake Tahoe area in the future.

The house is spacious and comfortable. Don’t sit on the couch or you won’t want to get up! It’s too comfortable. 😂 Game room is fun, hot tub was great, upstairs master bedroom is awesome and private. Overall this house is great for a large Tahoe gathering. Highly recommended and the owner was always responsive and very helpful. A++

We’ve stayed at Chairlift Lodge multiple times and it never disappoints! The cabin is exactly as pictured—super clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are cozy, and the home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It's in a perfect location for exploring Donner Summit, with easy access to Donner Lake, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. Whether you're visiting in summer or winter, it’s a great base for outdoor adventures. Trains do pass by the area, which adds to the historic feel of being along the famous Old Highway 49. The nearby market/deli is also well-stocked for any essentials. Highly recommend!

Very Nice Cabin located just a block away from the lake. Inside felt cozy and right at home. Had lots of entertainment inside. The host was very helpful and laid out clear instruction. Made our stay really easy!

We really enjoyed our stay and the use of the hot tub after a day of hiking. Very clean house, comfy beds, fluffy towels, multiple beach/hot tub towels too, and a great place to come back to after a day of adventuring. Comfy sofas and yard area to unwind. Walked down to Patton Beach with the dog. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the nearby areas. Quiet neighborhood to stay and relax in early June! We'd definitely stay here again.

Staying in Patrick's home was perfect for myself and my group during our trip to Tahoe! The house was only a short drive away from the Palisades resort, and had an array of accommodations that made us feel very comfortable. The fireplace, ample bed options, full kitchen and living room made relaxing and enjoying our time off the mountain just as good as our time on it. The home was very private, and we loved the mountain views the second floor deck offered us. Patrick made check-in very flexible, and was incredibly responsive and kind during our stay, even providing us with some great dinner recommendations (shoutout shady side grill!). The home was clean and was everything we could've hoped for, we would definitely stay here again!

The place is clean, well appointed, and a great location close to resort. Hosts go out of their way to make a first class experience with several nice amenities including stocked coffee bar, well equipped kitchen, and a nice welcome package sitting in each bedroom. The place is awesome for the price.

Tammy and Phil exceeded our expectations! From the time of our initial inquiry to check out their responsiveness was amazing. The location was wonderful with so many great restaurants and other stores within very close proximity. A beautiful and serene location to relax and unwind! The amenities were wonderful! If we travel again to Lake Tahoe we would reserve this place again without any hesitation!

This was a beautiful home. It more than comfortably fit my group of six. It was clean, spacious, easy to find, close to fun things, and very comfortable. Staying here was a blast and we’d definitely stay here again!

I would highly recommend this serene condo in the woods! Can’t beat the location, and the amenities are exactly what you need! Jared was very helpful when we had any questions about our stay.

I like how quiet and serene it was. Felt like we had the neighborhood to ourselves. Looks like Olga is doing a lot of updating to the the chalet. We will stay again and would love to see how it looks next year

This property was great! Beautiful property with beautiful views. Omar was incredibly attentive and responded quickly to our questions. There was an issue with the hot water heater, and Omar came over with a repairman even though it was snowing and stayed until the issue was fixed. Then they comped us an extra night! Excellent service at a great price - will definitely stay again :)

We enjoyed staying at Heathers place. It was a great location and not too far from everything in Tahoe that we wanted to do. It had all the things we needed in a Airbnb and the outdoor views were beautiful! I will warn you that you can hear EVERYTHING the neighbors above you are doing or saying so it was very loud up until the late hours of the night. It’s not the hosts fault at all, so I would never blame them. It didn’t bother us too much, and they do provide sound machines in all the rooms, which definitely helped with that.

Incredible property - the house was beautiful, included all the essentials and was beautifully decorated throughout (may have to be careful with little kids - lots of things to grab if you’re not watching). The property and surrounding meadow was incredible - and it was fairly easy to get into the main part of town. Would definitely come back here if I get the chance.

This cozy cabin was the perfect place to stay. I was amazed at how many beds and people it could accommodate for the size. The location made it easy to access beaches like Meek’s Bay and was a short drive into Tahoe City. The host was always responsive and easy to communicate with. We even got a bear siting outside which was fun!

It was truly a dream come true enjoying the weather and snow for the first time in credibly beautiful lake Tahoe. Gorgeous cabin, we had a wonderful stay. It was even more beautiful in person. The fireplace was amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked. Hot tub was a great added touch, was running and hot when we enter the home. The host was super responsive with excellent communication making everything easy and stress-free. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Definitely a memorable experience for our family!

Thank you Megan! We had a fabulous time at your home. The space was flexible, with plenty of room for our family of seven. The surroundings are beautiful with a real feeling of being in the wilderness - we all loved exploring the woodlands behind the house, and access to the Rubicon Trail right from the front door was a real bonus. The house itself was clean and tidy, and we quickly felt at home. BBQs in the back garden were a real highlight. Location-wise, there's not much walkable from the house (other than the gorgeous surroundings), so be prepared and go to the supermarket before arriving. Everything you need to cook meals at the house is provided. Megan was extremely helpful and responsive via messages. Just wish we could have stayed for longer..!

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! My fiancé and I recently stayed here with our two dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the home felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The house itself was spotless and impressively well-stocked, far beyond what you’d typically expect from an Airbnb. Everything we needed was readily available, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets, making our stay effortless and relaxing. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring the fully fenced backyard while we enjoyed unwinding in the private hot tub — the perfect way to relax after a day of adventures. The location is fantastic: quiet, peaceful, and just minutes away from Lake Tahoe, scenic hiking trails, and Tahoe City. The provided bikes added an extra layer of fun and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. John's home exceeded our expectations in every way and is an ideal spot to make new memories. We will definitely be back.

Perfect cabin for a weekend palisades trip! I only have good things to say about our visit - the cabin was super homey, comfortably fit eight of us with spacious bedrooms and open living room/kitchen area and it was only an easy 25 minute drive to palisades. Our host gave us helpful tips and was super nice. Worth the price - would definitely stay here again!
