Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Tahoe City

We loved our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s. The cabin exceeded all expectations. The home had everything we needed including very comfortable beds, outdoor games, well stocked kitchen and fire pit we used each night for smores. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it was clean and serviced while we were there. Our 2 year old begged to not leave and we didn’t want to either. Thank you for hosting our very special family vacay.

Wow what a great cabin for families! We all had our private areas which is great with little ones. Tons of amenities and things to do around the home. Was fully stocked, updated and very clean. All together one or the best rentals I’ve stayed at! Highly recommend :)

Jamie’s home was perfect for our family’s stay at Northstar. Roomy, comfortable, and ideally located. We’ll look forward to staying here again!

This was a beautiful home. It more than comfortably fit my group of six. It was clean, spacious, easy to find, close to fun things, and very comfortable. Staying here was a blast and we’d definitely stay here again!

Allyson was an amazing host who created such an inviting and comfortable space it’s now my go to when I travel to Reno. Allyson and her husband have put so much love and care into the home and it’s palpable. The entire description is right and the amenities offered are impossible to find anywhere else. The kitchen is fully stocked with the essentials which was amazing while working. The coffee offered was an incredibly nice touch, as were the treats. It’s small things that the two did that made me feel really at home and lucky to find hosts and a location like this. The projector was awesome and worked perfect, and despite being a historic house (which is in gorgeous condition) there was minimal to no street noise and our neighbors were quiet. The location is a nice walk from Midtown and Wells with great food picks at either. We loved our stay and are excited to be back!

Perfect ski/snowboard weekend for 2 families (7 people). Place is close to groceries and the slopes, and had everything we needed to cook fun meals with a well stocked kitchen. Very cozy and fun for kids, incl an endless selection of board games and Berenstaij Bears, not to mention the hot tub and outdoors. We would love to be back.

This was a 8 day family vacation with my husband and I, our son and his wife along with her parents visiting from Norway. We had more than enough room along with 3 bathrooms so everyone had plenty of privacy. We cooked all of our meals in the large and fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ along with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing after a day of downhill skiing at nearby North Star or Palisades. The way the house is built you literally feel like you are in the trees when you look out over the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. Also, there is patio furniture with a fire pit off of the eating area that we also enjoyed. There are board games, two TV areas along with 3 workstations with large computers. There is also a yoga area in the downstairs area. This is a beautiful home located in a safe and walkable area. Lori is responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place that has everything !!!!

This a beautiful home in the perfect location! Had a girls trip weekend and it was so close to everything we could possibly need. Comfortable beds, great gathering areas, and a whole bunch of fun! Would book again if we are ever back in the Tahoe area!

Great location, very clean and spacious bedrooms and common space. Host provides most of the things you might need in kitchen and bath super helpful. Great communication, clear instructions and easy to access. Will book again!

Laneys home was everything you could want for a beautiful stay in Reno! Her space is wonderfully designed, equipped with everything you might need to make a nice family meal the kitchen. We also enjoyed walking along the lake path to the nearby Indian restaurant. Thanks Laney for a fun and delightful experience in Reno!

This was our favorite stay on our vacation. Wished we stayed longer. We felt like home and had everything we needed. And the location was perfect as well.

The place was as described and looked like the pictures. Erica was very responsive to questions we had. The unit also had some extra bathroom amenities like eye makeup remover and Q-tips besides your usual shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They also gave a small s’more’s package. The kitchen had standard supplies but had some plastic dining ware that we were able to use for the kids. They also had a toy and book basket with games that my kids loved. Very family friendly. The location is a little farther from the ski lifts but completely walkable and in the village. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was really nice and comfortable. Daniel was also very nice and very helpful through out our stay. I definitely recommend staying here.

I booked hoping it would accommodate my teenage grandchildren. I was not disappointed. Right in the heart of Silver City, yet quiet and very comfy. Location is ideal to venture in any direction of the Reno/Tahoe/Dayton/ Carson City area. Virginia City is next door! Again, the craftmanship is top shelf. Thank you, Sean!

Staying in an apartment in Tahoe offers a unique blend of comfort and convenience, especially if you're looking to immerse yourself in the area's natural beauty. My recent experience highlighted some great aspects. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal prep, which was perfect for when we wanted to enjoy a quiet evening after a day of hiking.

Highly recommend Lisa Ann's blissful retreat. It's very private, cozy, and has a tone of added extras like a steam shower, heated floors, and a 4-person hot tub over-looking the trees and valley below. Her place is close to everything in South Lake Tahoe and to the ski lifts (although I was there in Spring).

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

A very cozy place with a well equipped kitchen. We were there during a big snow dump, and there was a person there to plow the driveway and shovel, which was appreciated. We enjoyed coming home after skiing and making dinner and hanging out with the wood stove going. The King bed in the master was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The home is clean, well maintained and stocked with everything you might need without feeling cluttered or crowded! It also provided very clear instructions on all the house things you might need to know (where things are, how they work etc.) during your stay! 5 minutes to a Safeway, and Kings Beach with all the shops and restaurants, making it a great location! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood. Walkable to a couple restaurants, yummy market and private beach. The house had everything we needed for a long weekend. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals and it was nice to have some games and kids books for our young child. Chris was very proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Had such an amazing stay for my mom’s birthday. We felt right at home, nice and cozy and everything was exactly as pictured! We loved the restaurant recommendations and all the amenities provided, it made everything easier and lighter on the packing. 10/10 recommend!

Doug and Marlene’s place is everything you could want for a Tahoe getaway. After staying in 10+ places in Truckee, this is by far our favorite. It’s spacious, cozy, and fully stocked, with plenty of room for gear. The abundance of towels (a rare find!), a huge kitchen, and an oversized garage - big enough for two SUVs with room to spare - made our stay even better. The hot tub is perfectly placed right off the back door, super private, and no snow trekking required. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay!

This cabin was the perfect birthday getaway. Beautiful inside and out. Clean space all around, fully stocked kitchen with working appliances. The outdoors area was a dream and really made it much more memorable. Sleeping spaces were comfortable and clean. Plenty of firewood for the fire pit. Can’t wait to visit again!! Don’t forget to add your note to their memory notebook. They were so fun to read!
