Barn vacation rentals in Switzerland

The place was clean and it had enough space for us 8 people. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. Instructions were clear and simple. Sandra always responded quickly when we had a question and she even found a bratwurst place nearby for us and documented it with pictures. Thank you very much for that! It is a quiet place, which we were also looking for. What should be specified a little more precisely is where the disposal for the garbage in the village is. But that's also the only thing we could "complain about". Thank you so much for letting us come by. All the best.

The accommodation is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn, as is typical for the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but even for four there is enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (Dorfkeller) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia personally, but communication was always quick and easy and self-check-in via the key box was convenient because we could not determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every booked day, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf free of charge). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome :-)

Very pleasant accommodation, ideally located in the village of Nax. Close to amenities and many walks! We came with our little dog who also enjoyed it. We recommend it +++.

A huge thank you to Sophie and André for hosting us! We had a wonderful extended weekend with friends (4 adults and 4 children) in their great accommodation. Everything was perfect: a very clean, comfortable, perfectly equipped house designed to make everyone feel good. We immediately feel at home there! Sophie and André are lovely, very available, and responsive hosts. The location is ideal for discovering this beautiful region, between walks, nature, and small local treasures. We all loved it, young and old! We recommend this place without hesitation and will be happy to go back. Thanks again for everything!

We only stayed one night at Esther's place and enjoyed it a lot! The cozy house is decorated and decorated with a lot of love for detail (never too much!). We had two floors available. The evening in front of the fireplace was wonderful - later we sat on the oven bench and enjoyed the warm back. We were allowed to use the kitchen and we were offered coffee and tea and even a sip of wine. Esther is a versatile talented power woman! The new bathroom is beautiful and the two rooms are very homely and stocked with fresh roses from the garden. Too bad, it was bad weather because the garden with the many rose bushes would be a dream! We highly recommend Esther's place.

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend for two in the Spycher. The place was very spacious, but beware of the lower beams. The wood creates a pleasant atmosphere with the direct & indirect lighting. It has something adventurous with toilet/shower and kitchenette outside. Angela was a great host and we can only recommend the accommodation. I'm sure we'll be back. Top Weekend! Regards, Ana

This place lived up to our expectations, it gave us the relaxing break we were in need of. The views from the barn were like nothing we’ve seen before. The communication with the hosts was great! A fantastic chalet, immaculate inside and out. The owner was engaging from the point of entry and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue. Despite being out the country on holiday, he resolved the issue without delay. 5 star property with a 5 star host.

Elena’s three-storey apartment ( we used only 2) was nice, well equipped with a special atmosphere where we felt at home from the very beginning. The apartment is at a great suburb environment with easy access to the city centre - by tram or train - and several shops, supermarkets and restaurants around. Elena immediately answered our questions and helped us with instructions. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

The tiny home is nicely developed, on 2.5 levels. A small wood-burning stove and a fire bowl provide a romantic atmosphere, and you have a nice view of a small pond. There is also a kind of small balcony in front of the upper floor (actually the former entrance). Bathroom and kitchen have everything you could ever need, including a small dishwasher. The WiFi was a bit weak, but that was no problem for us. The location is great if you like it quiet and are mobile. We could not test what it looks like with public transport. By car, you can reach Thun in 20 minutes. When arriving on Saturday evening, you should take into account that pretty much everything closes quite early. Just take precautions accordingly. The only deduction is from our point of view - but that is individual - the bed, which was a little uncomfortable, which was mainly due to the edge between the two mattresses. All in all definitely recommended. Thank you!

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

We really enjoyed our stay as Gasard’s place. It was spacious, decor was on point, 2 bath rooms meant our family of 5 didn’t have to wait for one another.
