Really different place

Very nice stay in the yurt surrounded by nature. Everything as described. Nadia was always available and a very nice host. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much! :)

The location within the mountains is beautiful beyond imagination, although it required to be detached from the luxuries and conveniences of city life, such as paved roads. Kids and parents had a great time in this nature adventure.

If you’re looking for a magical place to build some core memories for your children and your family… this is the place! What a hidden gem… Our children who are enjoying Waldorf education back at home felt immediately at home. Lots to do for them and to discover, while parents can enjoy their peace and ease. We stayed in the yurt, build a little fire, played tons of games and enjoyed our food and play time in the cabin. Kudos to the sweetest cleaning lady who is making the place spotless clean and tidy. Thank YOU Patricia and the whole team. You’re magic! 💙

We were two families with two children each and had a wonderful time at this special place. Sleeping in the yurts was also an experience. A true space miracle with cozy beds. The children loved to play in the meadows, to slide, to swing and above all to help in the barn with the goats and sheep. Sabrina, Adriana and Luca are so friendly and open-minded, we all felt very comfortable right away! Thank you for EVERYTHING.

My children (7 and 9 years) and I were allowed to spend a weekend in the yurt - and had a great time! We loved the two dogs on the farm and found everything we needed for the weekend. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and equipped with the necessary and even in the yurt it was not cold with fireplace, electric radiator and two hot water bottles despite 6° at night. Communication with Romana was straightforward and prompt, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Beautiful yurt, perfect for a peaceful weekend. Sanitary facilities (kitchen, bathroom) are functional and modern. The adjustable lights inside make the atmosphere relaxing. Everything was great!

Something special in the middle of nature. A place to recharge and unwind. We really enjoyed our time there. Everything you need is there and very clean. Adi and Theo are very friendly and helpful. Respond very quickly to messages. We may even check out later at short notice.

I spent a great weekend in Trogen. Cozy room & the house is very idyllic and quiet, in the middle of the countryside. You have beautiful views to Lake Constance. It is also ideal for excursions. I did some hikes and bike tours in the area. Everything was easily accessible by public transport. In the evening I was able to use the yurt that is in the garden as a quiet retreat - just awesome! Florian and his family, who live in the upper part of the house, are great hosts. Very warm and uncomplicated. For breakfast, there were even homemade braid. It is a great place, highly recommend. Definitely coming back - THANK YOU.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cinghialotta yurt! Sabrina and Luca are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Thanks for the delicious pizza from the great stone oven! :) The yurt is beautifully and cozily furnished. Everything is very well maintained. We enjoyed sitting in front of the yurt in the evening and listening to the bells ringing from the goats. We liked it so much that we spontaneously stayed one night longer. We will be happy to come back!

A absolute stunning experience at a unique location. If you search the most iconic experience in the Swiss Alpes, this yurt is your go to! Absolute loving hosts with extreme helpful and clear instructions. They are exceptional friendly and responded super fast. I can recommend the Raclette at their alpage restaurant.

the yurts are comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable and everything was clean. The simply furnished kitchen serves all purposes and the shower and toilet were also clean, which are nearby in the exceptionally beautiful cowshed. The location is hard to beat! Very quiet, the most beautiful nature is right at your doorstep. Very nice area to walk and recharge.

A really beautiful place – we had a great day! The yurt was cozy and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the blankets kept us pleasantly warm. We felt like at home. The sanitary facilities were also clean and warm. All in all, it was an all-around nice stay. I'm sure we'll be back. Many thanks to the Villa Donkey team!
