Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

We have just left after a 4 night stay at the Chalet Apartment. The location is perfect with the most beautiful views of the waterfalls and valley - photographs do not do it justice. The apartment was spotlessly clean and with great amenities. The village is walkable and has many good hikes nearby. We would 100% recommend and would love to return again.

We can’t speak highly enough about Anke and her apartment. The whole experience was truly incredible! From breathtaking views right from the front patio, to walkability and free bus to everywhere we wanted to go, to Ankes great local recommendations and her sweet personality- She made us feel right at home immediately. The apartment is pristine and larger than it looks in photos. We loved having coffee out on the private patio in the mornings and wine in the evenings while gazing at the beautiful view of the Eiger! Grindelwald is a very special place and we can’t wait to come back and stay with Anke again!

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

This place is truly a paradise. It looks exactly like the photos. You are very close to the train stations and bus stops. Stepping into this backyard feels like you’re in your own world. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Enjoyed every second in this beautiful space. Hosts were extremely kind and took extra time to check in with me after my arrival. I look forward to returning in the near future for another stay here.

Me and my partner had a great time, the apartment was lovely with an amazing view of the lake. Tea, coffee and milk all provided in the apartment, even a selection of jams. Anna even had us picked up from como train station and brought to the accommodation and shown around and how to use the facilities. Then she also had us picked up and dropped off early in the morning to the station so we could get back to the airport. Recommended us a lovely place for dinner on the edge of the lake. I also proposed to my now fiancé. Spectacular weekend, would 100% recommended staying here.

one of the best Airbnb I ever stayed. The flat was so spacious, clean and everything was so perfect about this place. The apartment felt as new as a brand new car out of the showroom. My friends were so jealous 😃😃😃😃, after I posted the video of the apartment tour. The view from the Balcony is so fabulous especially at the golden hour. it's 2 mins walk from the train station and all the Swiss hidden gems like Oischensee,Blausee and Adeloboden etc are with in 30-40 mins by bus from this place. This is our 3rd time in Swiss and we were so tired with the crowd in Interlaken and hence decided to findsth at village which is tranquil and under 40 mins from interlaken by train and this apartment qualify the search criteria. P. S:The property in reality is even better that the pic- so 5 out of 5 in all aspects

Great apartment. Exactly as described. We were worried that it might be noisy, but it was really quiet at night, and we couldn't hear any street noise. Everything in the apartment worked well. The air conditioning was particularly good as it was 34 degrees when we stayed. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The metro is a 1-minute walk away, and there are some incredible restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this apartment and would happily return again.

We stayed at Ula's Holiday Apartments for the second time. Again a really clean apartment and hospitality. We really recomend a stay at Ula's!

My husband and i stayed here on our honeymoon and it was our favourite place. The hosts were so incredibly warm and welcoming. From communicating before we arrived about the strikes and train issues to helping us book our transportation home and having the most lovely gift and hand painted welcome card for our honeymoon upon our arrival it was all heavenly. They are the kindest humans. The views from the apartment are stunning and the private location is a quick walk away from town - it’s nice not to be in tourist central! There are also private beaches for lake access and the best restaurant across the street. It was all a dream and we will definitely be back!!

Paul and Ursula were wonderful hosts! We had the best time staying there. It was peaceful and quiet, but only 5 minutes to the train station. We had a wonderful stay!

The location is quiet and stunning & the accommodation is first class. Their recommendations for where to eat and what to do did not disappoint. They made it very easy to fall in love with lake Como & we are looking forward to return to their accommodation!.

The Airbnb is very clean, had everything we need to self cook (pots, utensils, pan, microwave, oven, fridge etc). There are 2 dining areas - you can choose to eat inside or outside in the terrace with superb view overlooking eiger and a huge terrace. The sofa is so comfy, and you can watch YouTube too! We felt right at home. It’s a very good space for 2 persons. Location: 5 min walk from grindelwald terminal (where you can take grandola to Jungfraujoch early before the crowd comes)

Beautiful stay with an amazing view!

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation which perfectly matched the description. The charming asset: the spa and jacuzzi with stunning views of the lake. 😍 A big thank you to co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in exchanges before, during and after our stay. This lovely and comfortable apartment is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The smallest details make your stay as nice as being in a fine hotel: comfortable beds, pillows, extra throw blankets, good quality linens and plush towels. Francois and Capucine are nearby when needed but always discreet and allowed us our privacy. If that is not enough the highlight is the breathtaking views from the deck. The photos do not due justice to the awesome majesty of the mountains. We had many outings planned but only did half of our plans as we only wanted to stay local and to enjoy the views right from the house and nearby Combloux. Combloux is a gem as is Megeve and the proximity to Chamonix makes the location ideal! We will go back with our children and grand children!

We had a lovely stay in Ennenda at the Banzers. They are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.
