Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. Lovely little home. Powerful shower. Clear instructions for how to find it and where to park. Host was very communicative. Walking distance to high street with selection of local restaurants. Bedding was fresh and clean. Bed was softer than I prefer. Stairs are very steep which was a challenge after being at a festival all day. Would still happily stay again.

Alison's place exceeded my expectations and was much bigger than I had imagined. Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and with loads of kitchen equipment and a lovely outlook onto a small but charming garden. It was a great location for me to stop overnight travelling down the M1 but I could happily have stayed there for much longer and explored the surrounding areas. Alison was really helpful with information on where to walk my dog. Would love to stay there again.
