Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Sveitarfélagið Ölfus

Pétur's place was perfect. It is like 20 minutes to downtown. There is a grocery store within walking distance. Cozy and perfect. We spent all evening listening to music and sitting on the couch, recounting our adventures. When we had a scare with parking, Pétur responded almost instantly (despite it being almost midnight). He left books on the table with information and recommendations for all of Iceland. I can not reccomend Pétur and his home enough.

Great big flat, perfectly suited for the 4 of us! Living room is very comfortable and the kitchen is lovely and well equipped. The beds are very good and comfortable. Takk Nina!

The communication with Helga was very easy. The apartment was big and spacious and looked like the pictures. Big bathroom with everything you need (even laundry machine and dryer). 20min walk to the city center which is very doable as you walk along the shopping street. Just a shame that the windows were not really clean to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the apartment. Otherwise all was clean and good! Thanks for the nice stay. :)

Difficult to fault, had a huge range of things for our stay such as cutlery tableware towels etc. very spacious, clean and in a very peaceful area. A little bit out of Reykjavik but that's what we wanted, easy to navigate to and from for sightseeing in the car. Could only get the TV to turn on, couldn't change the volume or channel, probably because i'm too old!. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody visiting the area.

Stefania’s apartment was a very comfortable place to stay for the week. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were ideal and there was plenty of shelving and hanging space for clothes and other items. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking breakfast before we headed out for the day. We loved the location because it was not right in the heart of the city but it was within ten minutes by car. It was a peaceful area with grocery stores, a bakery and other shopping within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Tina was a great host, very responsive and answered all questions fast. The place was very clean. The location is great for those who have rented their own car and want to do day trips from Reykjavík and skip the morning traffic. Also, there is a bus stop right outside so if you want to go downtown without a car it's easy.

Wonderful apartment. Very clean and cosy. Everything was just right and the location was great for making trips to the most amazing places in Iceland. I only missed an information that the apartment is in the basement (which wasn't a problem for us), just to avoid any confusion after arrival.

Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

This host is fantastic. I originally booked the wrong date, and she worked with me to adjust it even though it was my mistake and the booking was non refundable. The home was large and beautiful, and well priced - especially in comparison to other options. The kitchen was amazing.

Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. Asta var meget hurtig til at svare, også før vi tjekkede ind. Hun sørgede for at vi i god tid vidste hvor vi kunne finde nøglen. Meget venlig og imødekommende. Lejligheden var ren og pæn. Vi boede to veninder og størrelsen var helt perfekt. God beliggenhed i forhold til både by og land. Alt i alt har vi været meget tilfredse med at bo der. Kan klart anbefales

Stefnir’s place is one of the best Airbnb I have stayed so far. The place is spacious, clean and fully equipped with amenities. Stefnir is very friendly and attended to our request promptly. I strong recommend her place if you are looking for a place around the area.

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

Svært sentralt i forhold til det vi skulle. Anbefaler å leie bil, da ligger flere ting kun 5-10 minutter unna. Kjørte Golden Circle, som var svært vakkert, særlig da vi var så heldig å ha sol hele dagen. Nærme sentrum. Enkelt å finne fram med bil, da det er godt merket.

Merci pour ces deux nuits, logement pratique et bien situé, bien équipé y compris pour les enfants (notre fils de 6 ans était ravi de trouver les jeux)
