For security we have fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and motion sensors. No cameras on site.

For a couple or friends, rent this modern, compact 36 square metre cottage, located in beautiful surroundings a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík. Wake up to a stunning view of mountains and a salmon river, watch the bird life in summer, and enjoy coffee on the porch if the weather allows. In the winter darkness, you might enjoy a view of the Northern lights, but on a cloudy evening, you can watch the 50" satellite TV. Fully equipped kitchen, small washing machine and a hot tub.

The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!

A lovely newly renovated studio with a private entrance and a private patio.The apartment comes with a five passenger A Kia Sportage with four-wheel drive free for guests usage. The apartment is located only meters from the Atlantic ocean at the small boat harbor and around 10 minutes drive from the centrum. The apartment has a double bed as well as a sofa bed suitable for two adults. In the apartment you will also find cutlery both for children and adults.
