Now we have the dream object of a lonely fisherman. It is not spoiled by modern conveniences, except that you get electricity for the refrigerator. And the phone charged when needed. Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire site and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

Berry picking areas and hunting grounds can be found right next to the cottage. With solar power, you can use the appliances in the cottage and charge your mobile phone. There is no running water. The cottage is wood heated.

Camping Laahtanen is located in a quiet and beautiful place on the shore of the lake, among the pine trees. There is a road nearby, so you can easily find us. For your comfortable stay we offer chalets with kitchen and bathroom, heating and water supply. Each chalet also has a wood-burning fireplace for an atmospheric stay. A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

The Finnish nature is one of our most excellent resources, providing an abundance of beauty and fresh, clean air. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site.
