Now we have the dream object of a lonely fisherman. It is not spoiled by modern conveniences, except that you get electricity for the refrigerator. And the phone charged when needed. Well, maybe in the dark of autumn, we can bring an electric light here... There is an outdoor toilet and drinking water can be fetched from the neighbor. Heat is provided by a wood-burning stove and water for the sauna can be fetched from the lake with a bucket. It is also possible to change that ball grill to a gas one. Addition. Henry Ford cabin is the smallest of the new Rakkaranta holiday village villas on the shore of Lake Syväjärvi, near the Ukkohalla ski slopes. The lake and slopes open directly from the large windows. In the lakeside sauna, you can enjoy the steam of the wood-burning stove, admiring the lake landscape from the large view windows of the sauna and sauna cabin. Our cottage, completed in 2014, is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain biking trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass-railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cottage, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard, there is a wood storage, a fire pit and a sauna. The hot tub is in use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are not allowed. Distances: Ukkohalla Resort 26 km. Store: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
