We really enjoyed our stay here. It was really clean, comfortable, and best of all very quiet. Also, the neighborhood is great. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit the area another time.

My stay in Amy's home was relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. I loved the location - nested against the hills and so close to shops/restaurants. I loved walking the hills in the neighborhood and coming back to a quiet and comfortable space. You are in the backyard of the owners but they are friendly and respectful and the setting is idyllic.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The home was cozy, clean, and perfectly located, but what really made the experience special was the kindness and hospitality of our hosts. They even invited us to one of their favorite local spots for dinner—it was such a memorable and thoughtful gesture. We felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. To make it even more special, my son celebrated his 10th birthday here, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

Margaret and Phil's cottage lives up to its listing - it truly is a cozy cottage in the midst of a lush, private, wooded garden setting. Although it's in the midst of Atherton near San Francisco, it feels quiet and much further away than it really is. The neighborhood is excellent for walking - wooded, with many interesting and historic houses. The hosts are wonderful - pleasant and engaging to talk with, and very hospitable; they went out of their way to help make our trip more comfortable in various ways. The golden retriever Sadie (the third host!) is extremely friendly, and makes everyone feel very welcomed. Although the cottage is essentially one open floor plan, it does not feel too small, and the many windows provide a lot of light and views out to the gardens. This is the kind of place that would be great not only as a base of operations, but as a destination in its own right, suitable for just relaxing. We hope to stay here again.

This is the third time we stay in Tracy's place, and it's always a great pleasure. The location is great, the house is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Tracy responds quickly to any messages and really makes us feel at home. Will keep coming back :)

The apartment is ideally located for visiting Stanford and is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and flowers, and lots of birds. The host is very friendly and responsive

Great place to stay for my business trip; conveniently located close to our project, good restaurants, the gym and other amenities - not to mention perfectly quiet for a good nights sleep. I would highly recommend and will happily stay here again in the future.

Linda welcomed us in person while we were checking in. Cozy, super well equipped little 1 room apartment. Very clean & tidy with a lot of extras. Not that far from airport & bus line 3-5 min away. We had a great time staying here! The space was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. A big bonus was the selection of kids’ toys and books—our little ones were entertained the whole time! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This spot is very well located, quiet, clean with everything you need. Very comfortable bedding. Very pleasant shaded patio. Marilynn is very friendly and responsive. An example, broken coffee maker changed within the next hour. We had a very good stay in this accommodation. Thanks again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and thoughtfully equipped. One of the highlights was the bed, it even has a built-in massager, which was such a relaxing treat after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook or just enjoy a cozy night in. If you’re planning a trip to Half Moon Bay, make sure to stop by Sam’s Chowder House, it’s an absolute must. The food there is unbelievable! The only small issue we ran into was with the shower. The water tends to splash out, even reaching into the bedroom area. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but just something to be aware of. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!

Christina’s place had spectacular views and was extremely peaceful! It was a close drive to delicious food as well as scenic hikes through San Jose and Santa Cruz. The trampoline was fun too! Christina’s family (including Charlie, the dog) was very friendly!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

Michelle was very hospitable. The backyard was beautiful and well maintained. The cottage was private, very peaceful and in a safe neighborhood. It felt both modern and cozy ♡ I loved the cute kitchen, the nice shower, the outdoor patio with seating and the comfy bed. I will definitely return to stay again as I am originally from the bay area and this location is perfect for hanging out or quickly getting many other surroundings cities that I frequent. I can't wait to go back to the cottage for my next bay area trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dipti's place! She and her husband are both very friendly and were helpful with a request we had when checking in. The unit was very clean, comfortable, spacious for 2 people and enjoyable to be in. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if available.

This continues to be a lovely place to stay and our favourite in the region. We have stayed at this location a few times over the past few years. The care and cleanliness are kept up and the garden is always beautiful. This season it was yellow roses and blossoms on the strawberry plants. Thanks Tamara and Tim for your extra help with a parcel delivery. We hope to return on another trip.

This is a separate house, newly built, everything is new inside. It is very pleasant to be and live. We were very pleased with the compliments: the freshly ground coffee and biscuits were very tasty. Next time we visit San Jose, we will definitely book this house.

We have stayed with Min a few times now. She is always very pleasant to visit with and very helpful. The rental is always clean and well stocked with everything we need. There is a beautiful park across the street to enjoy. We are very comfortable here. Thank you Min!
