Family-friendly vacation rentals in Styria

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

The only negative thing about our stay was that it was just way too short;) We enjoyed the time incredibly! There were no wishes left unfulfilled and Gerald welcomed us very warmly as a host. The surroundings are just awesome, whether hiking in the hills behind the house or chilling by the lake or paddling with the rowboat or, or, or... just beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The place was just as beautiful as in the pictures – very clean, stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped. I would especially like to highlight the hospitality of the owner – very friendly and took excellent care of everything. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and really has everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - there we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. We had a fantastic stay at Erhard's place! A mix of rusticity and luxury. If you know how to operate the wooden barrel (like an oven) it's just great! I even got it hot in 2 hours. The accommodation itself is very stylishly furnished. Thanks for this stay, we'll be happy to come back!

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

Quiet apartment with very good facilities (everything you need - incl. Coffee, tea, spices etc). Our dog was also warmly welcomed (dog snacks, blanket, bowl, etc.). René was quickly available and gave us good tips for snowshoeing. Thanks!

We (5 people from Augsburg) had a great stay for the Apfelland Triathlon. Due to the quiet and idyllic location in the middle of the apple fields, we were able to relax and unwind for the event. The host and his father were very friendly and helpful, happy to come back!

Renate gave me all the information you could need in advance. Communication with her was great and the apartment very sweet with everything you could need. The location was perfectly quiet and a great starting point for hikes in the area. Even for my dog, there were treats, a bowl and a towel. Loved it.

Elke's apartment is enchanting. It looks smaller in the pictures than it really is. Very nicely decorated, and it has everything you need. The very large terrace and garden area are particularly beautiful. The church bells are loud, but are turned off at night, so you can sleep well. The Billa supermarket is a few minutes' walk away. There are great restaurants and cafes. Parking is perfect right in front of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. For dog owners: the Wörthersee is unfortunately not so dog-friendly. The beach resorts do not allow dogs. Only in Klagenfurt is there an official dog beach, but it is very small. We also let our dog into the water in Pörtschach, but it is not allowed.

Very lovely place, perfect for couples. Maybe not ideal for summer months as there is no air conditioning and the apartment is on the top floor. Good location, there is public transport nearby. Enjoyed my time there.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Our privacy was respected. I had the entire ground floor available separately from the rest of the house. The host is very friendly, speaks English very well and surprised us with wine and beer in the fridge. A place full of greenery and very quiet. We recommend!

After a little struggle with finding the place, not really the fault of the host's directions, the reward was enormous. not a big space but the views were astonishing. The space was adequate, with functional kitchen and amenities and beautifully presented, but it was the outside which makes this place amazing. We didn't want to leave and neither will you.

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

We were a group of 7 people and had a very nice stay. All organizational issues were easily and simply regulated and we felt right at home. There is plenty of space, you can pass the time on the premises or explore the beautiful area and wine taverns. All in all highly recommended.

Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help.
