“Claire and Jake were kind and hospitable from the off - their house is even nicer than it appears in the pics (I love their bathroom), and they have obviously put thought into making guests feel at home. Highly recommended!”
Spacious loft conversion bedroom with the scope to offer accommodation for 1-4 people, with the option of two double futons or one double futon and a sofa. I think that four adults would find it cosy, but great for two adults and two children. There's the option to be able to use the kitchen dining room. It is a lovely airy space, with great views. We are well positioned with easy access to Glastonbury, Wells, the Somerset Levels for the nature reserves, Cheddar Gorge and the M5/A303.
“Kirsten's attic room in her family house is cosy, offering extra blankets and pillows, as well as a kettle; tea, coffee and sugar are provided as well as some house warming snacks to keep you going - very thoughtful! Linens and towels are provided, as well as wifi and an impressive bookshelf of books. Kirsten is a thoughtful host and the family have a cute black cat called Mojo. Easily accessible to Street high street and the rest of the Somerset area.”
A private, cosy and romantic space to relax and unwind. The Hideaway is a beautiful self contained annexe, on the side of a family home.
“The Hideaway is a beautiful and comfortable space for couples to enjoy being together. The hot tub was great place to unwind and have a glass of wine or two even on coldest of January nights. The kitchen was well stocked with tea /coffee, condiments and a fridge filled with delicious jams, fruit juices, milk and butter. Laina delivered a continental breakfast to the door every morning and we enjoyed our long lazy breakfasts. The Hideaway is 5 minutes walk into Street with its restaurants and pubs and the Clarks outlet village. We were lucky enough to be visiting on a Thursday and caught the weekly market where we picked up some lovely local cheeses. We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the Hideaway and have returned refreshed and chilled. We would definitely book again and would certainly recommend it to other hopeless romantics like ourselves ♥️♥️”
