Cottage vacation rentals in Strangford

We had a beautiful stay at Seaview Cottage. Niall was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The attention to detail and little touches made us feel so welcome along with the friendly host and unbelievable views made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend staying at Niall and Janeen’s cottage, thank you both very much for having us!

We are just back from a lovely, relaxing few days away at the cottage and we are already wanting to go back! Beautiful location, so peaceful and the cottage itself was just out of this world and of course not forgetting the amazing hot tub! We can’t wait to plan our next stay soon at the cottage. We even got to bring along our dogs who had so much fun. Big thank you to Glenn who made sure everything was perfect for our stay and was always there if we needed anything. We have made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you again Killeavy cottage 😃

Beautiful house! Every bit as good as it looks to be in the photos. Looking out through the main window in the lounge area we were able to watch the ships and boats sail past on the sea and looking through the other window at the back of the house we were able to watch the clouds and rain storm folding over the mountains. Then this morning while enjoying our coffee we to watched the rabits play in the field behind us. Such a magical place and so peaceful. We had such a lovely time and hope to be back soon. The “Nest” Cottage with hot tub was the ideal location and setting for a trip with friends. It was perfect, we can’t recommend it enough. Jackie,the host was incredible to deal with, always so quick to respond and extremely helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us and we were very grateful 😀 Already planning a trip back.

An excellent cottage and location for a family get-away. The cottage has a wonderful view and all of the comforts necessary for a restful break. For us, the hot-tub really made the place stand out.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding countryside was gorgeous- special shoutout to the donkeys! Steph & Michael were wonderful hosts and super helpful. We had lovely trips to Tollymore Forest Park & Carlingford which were both easy to reach. All in all very highly recommended :)

This was just what we needed. It was complete peace and quiet with beautiful stars. My whole family felt refreshed and we all had a lovely time.

what can I say , such a beautiful bright very clean cottage , Margaret and Gerry where excellent hosts , fresh bread and milk left on arrival , had a good supply of toiletries, and any kitchen utensils we needed where , we had a fabulous night's stay and will be certainly thinking of returning 5 * stay 😊

what a find, absolutely stunning cottage in an excellent peaceful location with the resident donkeys lol...what a gem of a place and so so peaceful. Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Highly highly recommended and we will defs be back....thank you Paula and keep up the good work x

Absolutely fantastic stay, we loved every minute of it and made a million times better due to being able to bring our dogs along, check in was so easy and the house had everything we needed and a lovely secure garden, loved walking the Greenway to Carlingford and the local hotel was lovely for a dog friendly pint! Loved the local chipper too, we will definitely be back

Gillian’s place is a Lovely cosy house set in beautiful countryside, very quiet and private place it was ideal for our needs. We travelled to the Balmoral Show during our stay. We ate in local restaurants in Saintfield which were also very tasty with very pleasant staff We really enjoyed our stay Thank you Gillian

Very nice cottage. I think the only thing to improve it would be a towel rail in the bathroom.

Shirley and Tom were amazing hosts . We felt right at home . Throughly enjoyed our stay .

Absolutely beautiful place very peaceful the view was outstanding couldn't fault the place one bit had everything you needed lovely to go on the beach each day will definitely book again in the near future had a great time😃

Our stay at the Studio was just what we needed. A place of calm. The Studio was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The locally sourced Breakfast basket & thoughtfully stocked fridge were really welcome. Sara responded promptly to our messages and she thoughtfully suggested a slightly delayed check out time which was very helpful and much appreciated for our situation. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the coastal path and Crawfordsburn Country Park. Thank you for ensuring our stay at the Studio was just what we needed.

Lovely long weekend stay in Joanna’s cottage - super cosy, beautiful surroundings. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play, and great that it was dog friendly too. Joanna was a great host - clear communication & quick replies.

So incredibly beautiful, miss the mountain and sea views from kitchen sink and front of house respectively already!! Wish we were back there, and will try get another weekend booked asap!! Thank you for everything provided, such high spec! And we were even blessed with a NI heatwave to sunbathe!!

Perfect for our family at Easter. Lots of walks a very short distance away and not far from town centre. Lovely private, enclosed garden where our kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt! Friendly and welcoming hosts, very clean accommodation with a helpful welcome pack. The cosy, beautiful setting very much made up for the damp weather. A little hidden gem in the Mournes, would not hesitate to book again.

Francis and Dorothy were the perfect hosts! we arrived very late in the evening on the day of our arrival and had everything we needed for a warm cup of tea and my girls were so tired they just climbed into the cosy bed and fell straight to sleep. We had a basket full of goodies for a fantastic first morning breakfast and together with the amazing views out of the window in the morning, it was the perfect start to our little break. Francis and Dorothy were very accommodating, letting us have a guest over when one of my daughters friends was visiting. They enjoyed the fairy garden immensely! The cottage was perfect!! Cosy, warm, clean and had everything you needed. Close shops nearby or you could go for a 20 minute drive and find yourself a big shopping center if that's what you were after. Dorothy gave us plenty of tips to keep the girls busy and some local beauty spots of interest. All in all, we will certainly be back! Thank you for the travel snack packs for when we left!!

The garden and views at this cottage were amazing, it was very peaceful. My kids absolutely loved the dogs who live nearby, the house was dog friendly which was fab!
