Decent little find this, four bed house tucked away in a quiet housing area. Easy to check in at the leisure centre for the keys, didn't use the facility but they do a decent well priced brekki. House is clean, beds are comfy and the shower runs hot. Jobs a good one for a couple of nights, would recommend.

We had a great time at the house. We particularly enjoyed the large and enclosed garden with hot tub and large paddling pool, all of which were fantastic for the children. Thank you for a brilliant stay and for being so responsive.

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious, with comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless, and the huge hot tub was a highlight, though the filter was broken which meant quite a few wasps were floating around. The garden was a good size, and the peaceful location made it a relaxing getaway. The pool table was a great addition, although i'd recommended bringing your own cues. The host was friendly and very responsive. Shops like Aldi and B&M are just a five minute drive, and the town centre, with plenty of shops and a market, is only ten minutes away. Parking was easy, with space for 3-4 cars. A few downsides: the TVs and game console are a bit outdated. The house could use some refurbishment, but overall, it was great value for money. Despite the very minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. With a few updates, it could easily be five stars. We’d still happily return and recommend it to others looking for a spacious, very affordable break

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at Turnip Cottage. Everything was perfect for our group. The cottage was spacious, homely and fully equipped. The facilities were excellent. We were a party of 5 adults and two children aged 14 and 10 and we made good use of the 2 games rooms in the courtyard. The children loved the tennis court / football / go-cart area and we all made good use of the swimming pool and gym. The owner was very friendly and helpful and directed us to a lovely private walk within the grounds. We will definitely meet our friends at the cottage again and enjoy another peacefully perfect weekend in this beautiful part of the country.

The lodge was lovely, nice and spacious. Quite a lot of rules like no music outside, not allowed in hot tub after dusk, these are things you want to do respectfully so feel let it down a little. Not many amenities either like shop etc. Did have a lovely break though and would return.

A lovely place to stay, fully kitted out with the essentials and some appreciated extras. Sara was a great host — hands-off but responded to messages quickly. The property was very family-friendly, and suited us well as close-friends. There are beds to sleep 8 but, for adults, I’d say 7 would be a more ideal number as the queen bed (a.k.a. a small double) was small for two adults to share. The bed sizes were clearly stated on the listing, however, so this definitely isn’t a complaint and just an advisory for future guests. Communal areas were fab, and the facilities (such as games rooms, tennis court and small children’s playground) impressed us all. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Turnip House and hope to visit again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a lovely, cosy home with everything that was needed. Jeanette has been responsive and proactive with communication. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when in the area.

We were greeted by Lisa at the property, she handed over the keys and showed us around the place. Telling us everything we needed to know, really helpful host. The lodge was just what we needed for a little night away, the tennis courts were a fun addition to the stay. Aswell as her beautiful dogs that she introduced us to! Overall, really great place to stay, it was immaculate and I would highly recommend. 5 ⭐ Lisa 👏👌

Couldnt have found a nicer place to stay. The location was absolutely perfect for where we were going on our trips. The property was so well presented on arrival and they even put on the extra touches by adding a lovely birthday banner and bunting for my daughters birthday. The property had everything we needed for our stay and some. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a great place to rest our heads whilst completing a course nearby. It had connections to a local bus station and metro. Also has space for two cars to park in the area. The beds were slightly uncomfortable but that’s just personal preference and there was only one set of keys which made it difficult! We would recommend this property if visiting the nearby area as it does exactly what it says on the tin!

We had a really lovely stay at this property. It was exceptionally well equipped and absolutely spotless. The patio doors directly overlook fields and open countryside. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. There was plenty to do in and around Kinver eg NT rock houses and the Black Country Museum in Dudley. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

We managed the get this booking very last minute and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest, the rooms were beautiful, so much space including the garden. It had everything we needed. We really loved the decor. But for us the hosts made the trip. So thoughtful and considerate, and despite our own lack of packing skills, kindly sorted us out, truely grateful, such a kind gesture. Really great communication and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout. Definitely looking to stay again!

Loved staying in this apartment. Perfect location for what I needed, with the bus stop into town a two minute walk away. Very quiet and felt very safe staying here. Veronica always responded straight away and if I needed anything, it was there right away.

Manny was very friendly and thoughtful — he even asked if we needed the heating on when the weather turned cold. We stayed for nine days, and fresh bed linen and duvet covers were available for changing. The place was spacious, well-equipped, and there was parking right at the door. It’s also very convenient, just a little over 15 minutes’ drive to the city centre. Highly recommended!

only spent the night for a friend's birthday and now wishing we booked it for longer. the picture do not do it justice, this place is amazing, very clean, spacious and Muhammad is an amazing host, any questions, he was at the ready to answer. we will be using him again. thank you for an amazing experience.

The Annex was a great home to stay in. The lounge was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed and was spotless. The beds were comfy and a massive sofa to stretch out on. It was also very easy to find. Ray was lovely. He met us as we arrived and saw us off as we left as well as taking a genuine interest in our trip. We did not see much of the surrounding area as we spent the daytime at the NEC but the nights were quiet and we got a good night's rest. We hope to stay again next year and recommend The Annex to anyone visiting Birmingham.

What a fantastic find, perfect location, beautiful cottage and beautiful surroundings, we will definitely return and would recommend, if you’re reading this review book before you miss out you will not be disappointed. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and a local Tesco Morrisons and Sainsbury’s we really enjoyed our stay and felt at home the host was really helpful and friendly we tried to rebook for another night but no availability

My friends and I had the most amazing stay at Maria’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful and is exactly as described. We all really enjoyed our stay and said we would all go back. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay x
