Monthly Rentals in Stokenham

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!

Lovely property. Full of character, lovely gardens. Close walk to the church and 2 pubs. Helen’s communication was great, easy and straight forward check in. Would book again

Really lovely stay in a great place so close to the beach ( 2 mins walk). The apartment was very clean and had all we needed for a short stay. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was good. Jaquine provides a fridge of provisions, including a bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely addition and very welcome. Communication from Jaquine was excellent. The Start Bay Inn is popular and very good especially the fish dishes and Stokeley Farm shop and cafe is also within walking distance.

Yet another great weekend at the Barn. As always Stuart and Amanda had left us some lovely goodies to eat and drink and the place was as pristine as ever. We’d had great communication with Stuart from the moment we booked until a few days prior to our stay, always ensuring our stay goes as smoothly as possible, which inevitably it does. We enjoy the peacefulness of the location and the fact that just a few miles down the road we are at the beach or at a local pub for an evening meal. Everything is in reach and we love coming back time and time again. Thank you for having us again Stuart and Amanda!
