We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

Mysig stuga ett stenkast från vattnet med brygga och badmöjligheter. Katarina var väldigt välkomnande och visade oss runt överallt och fanns hela tiden tillgänglig om vi behövde något. Kan absolut rekommendera detta ställa!

Vi tillbringade en helg i stugan och hade det fantastiskt trevligt. Stugan var ren, välutrustad och hade allt vi behövde för att känna oss hemma. När vi kom var sängarna bäddade, handdukar framlagda för alla och vi möttes av en fin välkomstgåva i form av hembakat bröd och fika, en omtänksam gest som verkligen uppskattades. Stugan ligger otroligt vackert, med magisk omgivning och en rofylld miljö. Det fanns många fina platser både inne och ute där man kunde slå sig ner och bara njuta. Kommunikation med värden fungerade utmärkt, och det märktes att det var viktigt för hen att vi skulle trivas. Vi kan varmt rekommendera ett besök, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

Appartement très bien placé, à 10 minutes à pied du métro, restaurant et magasins d’alimentation. Le métro nous amène en 5 min au centre-ville et à la gare centrale. La proximité du canal offre des possibilités de promenades ou de course à pied entouré des habitants du quartier. Au pied de l’immeuble se trouve un chouette café avec possibilité de se restaurer, que nous pouvons que recommander. L’appartement est spacieux, confortable, conforme à la description. Vincenzo a été très réactif et disponible.

Vi åkte tillbaka till Pelles paradis redan efter två veckor och tyckte att det var lika fantastiskt även denna gång!

Mikaels hus är en fantastisk tillflyktsort från Stockholms stadspuls och erbjuder en av de bästa upplevelserna som skärgården har att erbjuda. Huset var rymligt, rent och beläget på den högsta punkten med en hisnande utsikt över de omkringliggande öarna. En stor terrass, förstklassig grill, bastu och såklart poolen gjorde vår tredagarsvistelse med vänner oförglömlig. Mikael var en mycket hjälpsam värd som svarade snabbt på alla våra frågor. Jag önskar bara att jag hade råd att äga det här huset själv ;)

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

We had an amazing stay at Rika's place in Saltsjobaden. It exceeded all expectations and both us and our kids felt right at home from the moment we stepped in. The house is perfectly set up for a family. Everything is super easy to find and the house has everything and more you could ask for. We also absolutely loved the location. It was easy to get to and easy to get around.

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Wir haben es sehr sauber übernommen und die Endreinigung separat beauftragt, was bei den Göße des Hauses unbedingt zu empfehlen ist. Der Kontakt zu Fredrika war ausschließlich online, immer sehr nett. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder, dafür passten die 5 Zimmer mit Schlafmöglichkeit prima. Zumindest die beiden gößeren Betten waren für uns etwas zu weich, aber das ist Gewohnheitsache. Komplette Ausstattung des Hauses, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Draußen ein netter kleiner Pool und ein Gasgrill. Zum gut besuchten Strand im Ort sind es zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten, ebenso zur Bushaltestelle. Von dort kommt man in 25 Minuten ins Zentrum von Stockholm. Ein Einkaufszentrum ist auch in der Nähe. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

La maison d'Helena correspondait en tous points à nos attentes. Elle est située dans un quartier résidentiel, très agréable et calme. Nous avons même eu la chance d'apercevoir un lapin dans le jardin 😊. Le centre de Stockholm est accessible très rapidement, le tramway passe juste en bas de la rue. Nous avons apprécié la qualité des équipements, l'espace dans la maison et la décoration soignée, avec de belles pièces de design scandinave. Nous avons aussi passé de très bons moments dans le jardin : petit café du matin sur la terrasse, déjeuner au soleil et fin de journée dans le spa C'est une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans réserve. Helena a toujours été réactive et attentive au confort de notre séjour.

Könnte man 10 Sterne vergeben, würden wir das tun. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Helena und Magnus sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die keine Wünsche offenlassen. Ob Sauna, ein heisses Bad im Jacuzzi oder die besten Tipps für die Umgebung, man bekommt alles bei den beiden. Für uns ein absolutes Plus: der gemütliche Bauwagen, wenige Meter zum See und - ach- einfach alles.

Fantastiskt boende med magisk utsikt över Mälaren! Huset är modernt, välutrustat och väldigt bekvämt. Perfekt för avkoppling med bastu och spabad. Värden var hjälpsam och kommunikationen smidig. Rekommenderas varmt!

Eva and her family were very welcoming hosts. We had everything we needed and more during our stay at their beautiful and special place. We even enjoyed a bath in the pool. We had a lovely view from the terrace and the surrounding is also nice and green and with good restaurants. Thank you for having us!

What and incredible an serene Place Surround by beautiful nature. We really enjoyed the beautifull and well equipped House and Garden, and definitley have to come back!

Endroit paisible et au cœur de la nature, Karin vous y accueil dans une ambiance typiquement suédoise. Le logement dispose de tout le confort et de tous les accessoires nécessaires à rendre votre séjour agréable et si vous avez de la chance, vous croiserez même un jeune daim devant votre porte alors que vous êtes seulement 25min du cœur de Stockholm en transports en commun.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at Nina and Bjorn’s place . Very comfortable and as advertised. About 30 -40 minutes to the centre of Stockholm . Regular local bus and good connections to the Metro . Lovely local beach to walk around . So many things to see in Stockholm and the archipelago. Nina and Bjorn were excellent hosts . We hope to return. Lidingo a nice island.

Vi hade en superhärlig vistelse.ä över midsommarhelgen. Perfekt ställe om man vill komma bort några dagar från storstadsvimlet. Välutrustad, mysig liten stuga med fantastiskt läge vid vattnet. Värden var vänlig och tillmötesgående. Kommer gärna tillbaka!

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Es hätte nicht perfekter sein können... ein Traumhaus, wunderschön eingerichtet, ein herrliches bequemes Bett, ein großer Garten , ein eigener Badestrand mit See, beste Verkehrsanb. in alle Richtg, besonders das Pendelboot, welches in 70 Minuten in Stockholm ist, aber auch der 30-minütige Expressbus nach/von Stockholm, alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gustavsberg, die herrliche Umgebung und Spaziergänge in wundervoller Natur in unmittelbarer Nähe am Haus, das Artipelag- Museum in toller Lage und schönen Möglichkeiten zu spazieren.... So ein schönes Fleckchen Erde, absolut was für die Seele. Wir genossen es bald morgens mit einem Tässchen Kaffee in der zweiten Etage auf der Wohlfühlcouch zu sitzen und Rehe, Hasen und Eichhörnchen im Baum zu beobachten. Der krönende Abschluss war der Besuch auf der Insel Sandhamn, die Fahrt durch die Schären, die einsamen Sandstrände und wunderschönen Häuschen machten den Besuch jetzt im Herbst zu einer einzigartigenSchwedenidylle. Danke Christian
