Vacation rentals with lake access in Stockholm archipelago

An incredible and very special location - we spent a few days here with our 4 year old daughter and we all had such a fun, relaxing time.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! We absolutely loved staying at Magdalena's place, it was impeccable clean and exactly like the photos. We were two young families visiting and enjoyed the living area and ofcourse the sauna. We took walks around the neighbourhood and cooked every day, the beds are very comfy and would love to come back. Also Magdalena is a superhost responding swiftly to all our questions and super accommodating. Thank you so much for having us.

Great accommodation, perfect if you are a large group as there are three houses in total that can be rented. Lovely that there is the possibility of swimming in the jacuzzi and that it is also just a short walk from the lake with swimming facilities. Large balcony that is perfect for dinners with larger groups. We were here for my sister's bridal shower and we are all incredibly pleased with our choice of accommodation. Quick and easy check-in, which was also appreciated!

We really loved our stay at Lilla Anna! :) The house was very clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had everything we needed :) Especially the garden by the water is a dream and perfect for a relaxing and quiet vacation :) Kajsa is a very friendly and helpful host and we always felt really welcome! 😊 We will definitely recommend Lilla Anna to our friends and family and we will come back on our next trip to Sweden ☺️

A brilliant spot approximately 30 min drive from the centre of Stockholm. Right by the water with sea views and 9min drive to the local town. Our family (kids aged 9 and 12) loved the pool and hot tub. Elin and Johan were great and the house had everything we needed. Hoping to come back soon.

Best stay ever!!! It was incredibly beautiful, so I spontaneously extended it another week. The house is so cute, cozy, perfectly equipped and exceptionally clean! Upon arrival, Robert and Diana showed me the surroundings. The two are so warm and always available on site and by message and incredibly helpful. They give great tips for things to do, restaurants, etc. The lake is really right outside the door, very clean and great for swimming. I could borrow the SUP at any time. The sea is also just 2 minutes away. I will never forget the days there and left with a heavy heart. I've rarely had such a perfect place to stay! THANK YOU!

I stayed for a week in this delightful and unique apartment. Self-check in was straightforward. Annika's communication was excellent and the photos were accurate. Great location in Old Town with easy access to Central Station, commuter ferries and tourist buses

Great place to stay in a wonderful part of Stockholm. Uzi was a great host, easy to communicate with, and full of good recommendations to enjoy the best of Södermalm. The Coop next door was very convenient, and the apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend, and would gladly stay again!

We had a wonderful time in Stockholm! After the daily sightseeing program, then quickly to the quiet suburb with subway and bus, good transport connection. Relaxed end of the day in a nice area by the lake. Thomas even picked us up from the train at check-in and showed us how and where the subway goes, the bus stops and shopping, explained everything superbly. The apartment was perfectly furnished with everything you need, very nice Nordic simple and functional, very spacious, bathroom with bathtub and shower. Kitchen equipped with everything. The contact with Thomas and Madeleine was very warm, never intrusive and always accommodating. We had a perfect vacation (in wonderful summer weather) and thank the two very much for their hospitality. We would come back anytime!

The place is beautiful . Extremely clean, comfortable and warm. The yard behind is lush green and we saw deer on both days! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all amenities possible . Highly recommend their space .

I would have given 6 stars if it was available. We had been traveling Scandinavia for the last couple of weeks and Oliver and his father’s spot was easily our favorite. He was very accommodating and helpful. We had bad weather a couple of days and he did everything he could to make it up to us. Went above and beyond in every aspect. I even got to catch some Swedish fish in their lake! He set the boat in and had fishing poles. I hope I get to go back some day!

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well arranged and perfectly located by the sea with stunning views. We loved the quiet of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Everything was clean and well thought out, the host is responsive and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

The sea cottage was beautiful as advertised in the photographs. Quiet and tucked away, but a quick 20-25 minute drive into the city. Peter and Malin were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had! They made the process seamless and stress free. Definitely a hidden gem in the outskirts of Stockholm.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

Gorgeous cabin in a wonderful village just outside Uppsala, would love to stay here again!

An idyllic "bush retreat" in the Stockholm archipelago! Host Emelie was incredible – responsive, warm, and helpful from start to finish. Cosy, thoughtfully designed cottage with unique outdoor shower & relaxing patio tub. Well-equipped kitchen & inviting fireplace. Fantastic location: peaceful yet close to Torö stenstrand & Nynäshamn. Emelie's local tips were invaluable. Her exceptional hospitality truly stood out; she went above & beyond (new oars for the boat!). A true gem for a tranquil escape. Highly recommend! Left refreshed & grateful. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful week at the boathouse and really enjoyed being there! The sauna was in use a lot, almost every day, because it is really beautiful! After each course, we could swim in the Baltic Sea and cool off... And Maria and Jussi are friendly people, open in communication and very reliable. We lacked nothing, and we would come back anytime! Thank you!!!
