Cabin vacation rentals in Stinson Beach

Velouria is a lovely and tranquil place to stay in the Guerneville area nestled amongst the beautiful redwoods. Everything was exactly as described and had all we needed for our three night stay. I do recommend grabbing some firewood at one of the local wood spots (descriptions provided in the check in/rental information) or Safeway just a short drive into town - Even though it was mid June and warm during the day, having a fire at night was a great way to keep the residence toasty and cozy as it can cool down at night quite a bit! The hot tub was also a wonderful addition, clean and spacious and as others have sed, nearly floating amongst the trees on the lowest deck. Shane was our main contact during the stay and communication was friendly, clear, and super chill! Thank you so much!

Mary's cabin was a delightful stay! It's nestled in a charming little town. Coming from the city, being sorrounded by towering redwood trees felt magical, especially when stepping outside just before sunrise, breathting in the crisp air, and listening to the soothing sounds of nature. During our stay we explored Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, Johnson's Beach, and even took a quick trip down to San Francisco which is just an hour and half away. Overall, great spot!

I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Chad’s cozy and well appointed home surrounded by beautiful redwoods. This is a great spot for those traveling with pets; the deck is secure and the neighborhood is nice for walking. I appreciated having a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the neighborhood with ease. Bed is super comfy and the hot tub was appreciated after hiking in the area, of which there are a variety of options. I hope to return one day!

Chad was super responsive, getting back to me immediately texting in realtime on the app about my questions. The hottub exceeded my expectations- natural cedar, no chlorine, no plastics… nicely maintained, so rare for a rental! Beautiful to soak in the deck surrounded by redwoods, super peaceful . Quintessential Russian River home! From the moment you walk through the gate, you're transported to a lush, private oasis. We loved the variety of seating and decor. Evenings were cozy and we quickly felt at home. Perfectly located for exploring town and unbeatable for birdwatching. We didn’t want to leave. A perfect Airbnb—thank you!

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

We had a very peaceful stay at Alexandra's. The cabin is bright and cheery, thoughtfully and tastefully appointed. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable, with the exception of one unseasonably hot day (in the 90s), when the fans were not enough to keep us cool. It cooled off at night though, and I imagine temperatures are cooler most of the time. Overall, a great place to stay while exploring Sonoma.

We had a wonderful stay at David's TreeHouse Cabin! The redwoods surrounding it set the perfect backdrop for a morning on the front deck or a night on the back patio stargazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows and skylight really make you feel up in the trees, and we really loved cozying up by the wood fireplace in the evenings. Bathroom is small but gets the job done. Relaxing and a perfect retreat!

This sweet home was everything I was looking for and more. The location is incredible, so close to hiking trails, the coast, cute towns, and great restaurants. Absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful the home was a long with the beautiful natural lighting and decor. We felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend Megan's home to all!

Amazing little spot for our family of four!

Amazing stay in the redwoods. Love waking up to the sound of running water with a creek across the way. Cabin felt cozy and got some great sleep while there! Fire place was easy to use and kindling was provided with matches. Would definitely stay here again!

I went there with two of my kids when my wife and oldest was out of town. We want to go back when they’re in town. The only downside was both kids got bitten up by bugs. Next time I’ll bring more repellent

Came into town to celebrate our friend’s upcoming nuptials and this place did not disappoint. It is as inviting and beautiful as the photos suggest and the glorious Redwoods that surround the deck take you into instant ease and relaxation. So close to downtown bars and restaurants and Johnson’s Beach. We’ll be staying here again!

It’s you’re on the fence just book it and be sure to book at least two nights. Peaceful, clean, walk right to the river. Thora left clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. The deck was a dreamy place to enjoy coffee and bird watching and we really enjoyed the gigantic kitchen as well as access to paddle boards for the river. Cant wait to return

Ila's place was very nice. My husband and I were there to spend the Christmas Holidays with family. It was neat, clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. The area was very safe, quiet and close to many amenities. Ila was very responsive each and every time! It made everything very easy. While I can see that the drive way may be difficult for some, Ila's instructions were excellent and easy to follow. We really liked that the space was private. The bed was very comfortable which was very welcome after a cross country late night flight. We found her place to be very clean and she added many extras such as Christmas lights and flowers. The extra touches always make you feel at home. We would be happy to go back to Ila's place. Thank you! Donna and Robert

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect for what we needed! It was very comfortable, quiet, and easy to access. We loved being able to use the grill and have a nice dinner on the private patio!

We enjoyed this home so much! It was so relaxing and peaceful to stay here, right in the middle of the redwoods. The location is super convenient and parking is not hard as long as you are driving up with a 4WD like Jessica suggested. Jessica is a great host too - she's very responsive and provides clear instructions that make the whole process smooth and stress free.

I don’t have a lot of experience with Airbnb, this is only the second time I’ve ever had to use this service and I’m so thankful that I found this gem! It was so nice to have a private area and not have to worry about our kids being too loud for people. We’re very thankful that Austin lent us this beautiful space and of course for his amazing neighbor Carl as well!

We absolutely loved our stay; the house is gorgeous and well appointed (very well stocked kitchen with high quality items, beautiful furniture and carefully thought out personal touches, comfortable beds and well stocked linens, etc). This place is clearly not just an Airbnb but rather a well loved second home, and we felt lucky to get to stay there. The house is quite an experience, on the side of a hill surrounded by redwoods; you almost feel like you’re in a treehouse. I highly recommend booking this place!
