We had an amazing stay in this beautiful countryside Shepherd’s hut. The setting was beautful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect weekend escape for my partners birthday. The hut itself was so charming and well-equipped. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. She had thought of everything—there were so many lovely touches, from the birthday bunting and a bottle of wine to enjoy, which was such a thoughtful surprise! Everything we could have possibly needed was provided, and the attention to detail really showed. The area itself is stunning too - quiet, scenic, and full of lovely walks and countryside views. Kelly was amazing: warm, helpful, and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived, provided lots of information. This weekend getaway was exactly what we needed—peaceful, comfortable, and stunning. Would definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special countryside break. 🥰

What a lovely place to spend the weekend! It was the small touches that made the cottage a nice place to stay - from the personalisation, to the home made lavender scented bath salts and the treats left for us to try. We felt we could really relax and enjoy the best of summer and Stelling Minnis. Port Lympne and Canterbury/Whitstable were easy to access via car. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay—it was everything we were looking for! The beautiful landscapes, sheep roaming nearby, and of course, sweet Sandy made it feel like a second home. The location is a perfect base for exploring places like Canterbury and the stunning coastal areas. We really enjoyed peaceful walks around the area, and a highlight of the walk was the fresh, delicious eggs from Longland Farm. The hosts were incredibly lovely and welcoming. During our visit, William kindly invited us to watch sheep shearing—it was our first time seeing it, and such a unique experience! The place has everything you need, and we especially loved the telescope provided by the hosts—it allowed us to spot all sorts of wildlife across the landscape. We’re already missing Sandy and would absolutely recommend this place to our friends and anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage style property. Drove done a country road in a forest to find the very secluded property (although agree with one other reviewer that it could be clearer there is 3 properties grouped together in the same area!) Smooth check in, spotless inside. Gorgeous surroundings, including swing and play fixtures for our 2 and 4 year old. Very friendly and kind owners live in an adjacent property so we’re on hand and very friendly and quick to solve our small problems (water turned off temporarily - fixed very quickly! And cot and high chair accidentally put in other cottage but again, fixed as quickly as they could!) 15 mins from gorgeous Folkstone and Port Lympne reserve, sooo peaceful and had a brilliant time. Will be back.
